Last night I took my Leupold and Vortex scopes to the picnic table for the last 30 minutes of light. My bride thought the Vortex was brighter than the Leupold. Really wanted to go with the Leupold for the CDS dial system. May have to consider another Vortex. The only one I have is on an AR in 223/556 for range duty. Never hunted with a Vortex, may be time to start. For 32 years my go to for hunting has always been Leupold. Times they are a changing.

Recently, I signed up for notification on the VX 3HD 3.5-10 Firedot. Notified 2 days later. While I was talking to Leupold CS about 3HD or 5HD, it went out of stock. Signed up for notification again, got the email the next morning. Scope is on order with mil. discount of $150.

Not sure if it is cerakoted or painted. It matches the B5 furniture perfectly. I looked at the Odin Works website and the one they have is in black.

just under 100 rounds down the barrel and its finally tightening up or I'm calming down. Pic is of today's group. The red bulls eye is .75 inches. Had one flier it was me. Knew it the minute the gun went off. ARGH!!!!
