Mine didn't have the stainless adjustable gas block but other than that mine is identical. With the muzzle brake I installed it is the smoothest shooting rifle I own. MOA or less with my handloads.

I have no Odin Works 6.5 Grendel barrels but have built 5 different 223 Wylde, a 6mm Arc, and a couple 300BO rifles using Odin barrels. Every one but the 300BO's would do 3/4 MOA or better. I have used a bore scope for many years (Hawkeye) and I have to say they all looked very good (chamber and bore) and clean easily. IMO, at their price point I consider them a good safe bet.
I didn't use an Odin barrel for my last Grendel mainly because they don't offer one with a .750 GB and I wanted to try a Proof Research barrel.
If you'll accept some unsolicited advice, get as nice of a barrel as funds allow. Nothing to me is more irritating than thinking after the money is spent that I should have got a better barrel. I tend to start around the Odin Works price range and there have been no regrets.

Listen to this: I was talking to him about the Oden rifle and told him that I would love to buy one too, but, but my heart medication and cancer medicine will is simply too expensive for me to afford one. He told me that it wouldnt hurt me to go without them forcouple of months. Only a true and blue Horde member would think like this.

by the way not many barrels will shoot moa with factory altho I usually get some for breakin... mostly doing handloads.
My howa (bolt action) and lilja both shoot well, around 3/4-1 depending on what kind of day I'm having...

Yep, get a good barrel. A couple of years ago I bought a well regarded AR in 223. After many powders and bullets, I just could not get that rifle to shoot under about 1 1/2. That was just not good enough. I called the manufacturer and got the CEO on the line, and told him my problem. He said that the rifle met MiL-spec accuracy standards and that was all it was guaranteed to do. Thats all he had to offer, but it didnt help me at all. Well, I did like the rifle, so I bought a match grade barrel off a guy I knew, and that fixed the problem.
The new AR, the Odin Works rifle, doesnt need a new barrel. When I bought it, the gunshop threw in a box of Hornady Black 123 gr match rounds. After getting the scope sighted in, I was able to shoot a couple of really tight groups with the Hornady Black. I am pleased.
Pulled the trigger today on an Odin Works 6.5 Grendel rifle. Can't wait for it to arrive. Frustrated with Leupold though, they offer a military discount on in stock items. They have nothing in stock! ARGH.
Claim its Covid and supply chain issues. HMMM been over two years since Covid. Guess time to find another scope brand!

Last night I took my Leupold and Vortex scopes to the picnic table for the last 30 minutes of light. My bride thought the Vortex was brighter than the Leupold. Really wanted to go with the Leupold for the CDS dial system. May have to consider another Vortex. The only one I have is on an AR in 223/556 for range duty. Never hunted with a Vortex, may be time to start. For 32 years my go to for hunting has always been Leupold. Times they are a changing.

I put a Leupold VX5 HD 3-15 CDS with Firedot on my Grendel. I dont have a Vortex with glass that good. I have one just like it on my 260. Dialed up a hog in near darkness a year ago at 400 yards, without the Firedot I could not have made the shot. The Grendel is mainly for pig work, so it will be in dim light often. I am fond of that scope.
Waiting on the owner of a local gun shop to see what he can find in the Leupold line of CDS scopes. While I was there couldn't resist upgrading the milspec trigger to a CMC flat single stage 3.5 lb trigger. Have them in two of my ARs and love them.
From what I'm reading here looks like I may have to reload or pay someone to do it to get the accuracy I'd like. Been thinking about reloading recently, just not sure I want to go down that rabbit hole yet!

I can say the same to my 16" Odin, solid 1 moa shooter, gassed correctly and don't know if I ever seen a nicer looking barrel extension.
My brother just got a LaRue upper and their stripped lower that I help guide him in assembly, worked out very well and it has the nicest upper to lower fit I've ever had handled in the AR15 platform. Got it sighted in and it was doing better than 1 moa with ease.

Took the new upper to the club with my regular 90 TNTs, with the exception I loaded Starline new brass .
Did 2 ten round mag dumps .shot 99 rounds with not one malfunction .
My Laupa brass has many firings on them, still would not cycle, in new upper

The toy has arrived. Did the recommended break in. Dpesn't seem to like Hornady Black, much better with Hornady ELD match. Cleaned it good, headed back to the range!
