I need to pick up a few more 6.5 mags. What is the overall concensus on C Products? Good mags?

Only game in town for the Grendel right now. There is another, large manufacturer coming out soon, (I know, I know, we've been hearing that for at least 12-18 months, so soon is relative!)

My last 10 mags have all worked flawlessly.

I bought some that were supposed to be 17 rounders. Turns out they didn't hold that many. I contacted C-products and the people there were just fantastic. They checked to make sure the new ones really held 17 rounds and sent them out.

I have both Alexander Arms, and C-products mags. The mags work equally well. Mags from both makers worked better if I made sure there weren't any burrs in the inside of the feed lips. Once that was done, neither is any more reliable than the other. I wouldn't hesitate to order from C-products again, so I guess that is a long winded way of saying their mags are just fine..order from them. And they are nice people to deal with, and don't argue with you if you think there may be a problem.

They are the best $10 Grendel mag you can get!!!

Between my brother and I we have about 15+ of the 17 & 25 rounders, have not had an issue. They were bought 2-3 at a time over the last couple of years, so it appears to me they have addressed any of the early teething pains. Last 3 I bought about a month ago.

That is interesting about the 17 rounders. I recently bought a second upper. It was used and came with what was supposed to be 2-17 round mags. But I could not get 17 rounds in them without forcing it. I use them as 15 rounders.

My 17 rounders are really 14 rounders, maybe 15 but I'd have to have the bolt open to insert the mag. I will try some new ones and see how they work.

I ordered some 5.45 mags from them (C Products) a couple months ago. Only heard from the once since then, 'just a couple more weeks'. that was over a month ago...

Is this just C Products under a different name?

Magazines appear to be the same although the prices went up fifty percent. I guess C Products figures that increasing the cost will somehow translate into a better product.

Who will be the new manufacturer of Grendel magazines? I mean an outfit that will actually make a quality and reliable magazine for that cartridge?

I have an order in with C Products right now and I asked them about the new website, the person I talked to there said it was a separate company handling the mags, not them as they are still the ones making them, but that is all I could get out of them about it.

Looks like they ARE C Products. The company appears to have been sold.
