Underground Tactical Grendel Barrels

I see Underground Tactical is now offering Grendel barrels:

Weird, they list one barrel as "6.5 Grendel" chambered, and the other one is "6.5 Grendel II". I like to see more offerings, but I will never deviate from the real Grendel chamber.

The lightweight 18" looks interesting. I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole with a non SAAMI spec chamber, but with a real Grendel chamber and maybe some SBR lengths? That could be popular.

I agree with you Variable.

Matter of fact, i passed on a chance to buy a rifle near me several weeks ago because it had a barrel made by a company known for not delivering saami grendel chambers.

And the two barrels have two different twist rates: 1 in 9 for the fluted barrel and 1 in 8 for the LW. The barrels are both 18 inchers. Strange. Why would one do this?

One is polygonal and one is 5R. Probably two different manufacturers.
