Out at the ranch today testing our new 6.5 Grendel AR we will be offering in the coming weeks. In this weapon we are testing to see how well the Grendel works with the piston system we offer on our ARs. It works flawlessly. So I will be happy to offer our Grendels with a piston driven upper. This has our suppressor on it as well.
Now, let's see what kind of damage we can do to some hogs and deer this evening.

Wish you the best of luck, another source will be great! Please post some pictures if you have good luck this evening. How about some detailed info on the Grendel bolts you've just made, cost, availability, coating, bolt face depth, etc. Standing by to read everything Grendel you have.

Would you mind telling us a little bit about your Grendels?
First I'm assuming you're chambering the barrels to the SAAMI spec, correct?
Which bolt design are y'all using, the AA Beowolf bolt or the 7.62x39 bolt?

As you requested, here are some photos of the successful hunt this evening with our 6.5 Grendel AR. It performed perfectly with great accuracy. Only walk and stalk hunting done here. It's great to be able to use suppressors here in Texas.
Now we have some meat for the freezer.

Ya, all neck shots done with a 4x ACOG at around 150 yards. I was using the Hornady 123gn A-Max

You got any videos, I'd like to see how effective those suppressors are on a 6.5 Grendel.

Bob That is correct. They are Rio Grande Turkeys. Had several hundred around us when we were gutting the deer. Stupid birds.

We haven't decided on the price of the bolts yet. I'll have a meeting this week about that. Will have to look at the market. As far as availability, in the next couple of weeks we'll have them available on our website for purchase, if everything goes according to plan. We are currently committed to providing large quantities to our current customers, which you probably already heard about on this forum. Current coating finishes at the moment are a nice black phosphate. We are developing a high alloy nickel boron at the moment and should have that available at the end of January. The bolts are based off of the Beowulf design with a .136" bolt face depth. We worked with a very popular barrel manufacturer (I can't remember their name, it's like Neptune, Mars, Jupiter, Venus or something like that) to come up with this bolt and they are very pleased with it.

I appreciate the attention to the Grendel and great news about your barrel manufacturer customer. I plan on ordering another Grendel bolt and maybe a couple 5.56 bolts as well.

Texas Shooting Range in Liberty Hill Texas is a good spot. Just north of Austin.
