Anyone want to sell their Grendel bolt action?

I am looking into building a Grendel bolt action.
I thought I would see if anyone wants to sell theirs first.
Let me know.
I am hitting a gun show this weekend in search of a 7.62 action to start with.

Look at Savage or any switch-barrel. You may not need a lot of gunsmith work with them.

Were you thinking 7.62X39 or .308 Winchester. Either one should work, but the .308 might need a 7.62X39 or PPC extractor.

Sorry no. As a starting point, I think Century Intenational sells the Zastafa M85 barreld action for around $485. With stock about 100 more.

So if I find a 7.62x39 in a CZ, Savage, or Zastafa I am good to go?
I just need to hunt someone down who makes barrels for these. Im assuming someone does for these?

There are several manufacturers that will make Savage-contour barrels.

I plan to order a barrel from PacNor (http://www.pac-nor.com/wildcat/) as soon as I my reamer is finished. My reamer is not for the 6.5 Grendel but they list a "6.5 Gren Match" as one of their wildcat calibers.

From what I understand, you will be happier in the long run by going with the SAAMI version even for a bolt gun. This is particularly true if you contemplate using Wolf Steel Case ammunition.

You may want to give them a call or drop an email to find out what differences exist between the "6.5 Grendel Match" and the SAAMI version. They may be reluctant to answer directly because I understand SAAMI has not yet released the official drawing set. The key question is whether their chamber is consistent or the same as what Alexander Arms uses.

Remington mini-Mauser actions will work as well. They can be found in 7.62x39.

I'd bet its a .295 neck version of the Grendel chamber.

I think SAOD and CSS offer some form of bolt-rifle barrels chambered for variants of the 6.5 Grendel.

I think I also remember a previous thread which indicated that CZ'z custom shop would build a Grendel-chambered compact bolt rifle, but seems like it was somewhat pricey (~$1400 ?).
