Strelok banned

Apparently, U.S. State Department sanctions resulted in Google banning Strelok from the Play store. I'm guessing Apple will do the same. This sucks and seems pointless, unless the point is to stick a finger in shooters' eyes.

i dont have apple, but for android side loading the apk is always an option. Google play store is not requried.

I believe the developer, “Igor”, is a Russian National. And is apparently caught in the crossfire and being punished for Putins ambition!

Have it on my phone and tablet. Worst part is both are 3 to 4 years old. Will need replacing soon. Hope I can find a download for it. Dont need the google play. Can download any 3rd party app. Just need to change your settings to allow 3rd party app install.

I have tested this install as working on "another device" which was the bluestacks android emulator on PC.



Well, determining a working solution took all of maybe 15 min. Way to go, super effective policy.

I just did, yes. and tested distribution to another device as working (physical and emulated on PC... see above screen shot)

I remember reading this before. I have Pro, and think I updated it not to long ago and it's still on my phone and just started up fine.

But yeah, I see it's not in the play store anymore.

So strelok is still banned from the play store but it's available on the Samsung Galaxy store app, with updates so of you have a Samsung phone there you go. If not I can still provide updates via pm with instructions. Still think this is the most feature rich calculator out there. Syncs with my calypso, live view to android watch... if others would catch up I'd dump them in a heartbeat

Saw this thread and had to double-check. Sure enough, I already have the Pro version on my iPhone and iPad. Phew.

It's funny. I was looking at the app on my iPad, and my wife walked over. She said, "Ah, Stre-LOK!" I replied, "Oh, STREL-ok? You know that word?" She corrected me, "Stre-LOK! It means shooter". LOL My Russian is pretty much non-existent and I knew nothing of the app's origin.
