After some review of the LFP projectile testing thread, decided to give the cavity back 118 gr bullets a try.
Im working up some loads for deer season with the cavity back 118gr MKZ. I have two Grendels, I tried loads in each using CFE223 and 8208. One rifle liked the CFE loads, the other rifle didnt like either.
Thought Id try a load with H4895 as the rifle in question really likes that powder with a Nosler 129 gr ABLR. I cant find any reloading data for that. I have an idea what I think a max load would likely be (withheld here to prevent possible misuse by others), so work up to that but Id like some confirmation before attempting.
Curious to hear what others have found that works for these projectiles and also would like to hear how they have performed on game.
