I have a couple hundred PPU 139 gr FMJ bullets I bought by mistake a year or so ago. Anyone tried loading bullets this heavy in 6.5 Grendel. Even if I could use them for short range plinking loads.

If they were mine I’d load them and shoot them in my 6.5 Grendel Cz 527 or AR-15’s. Speer has load data for 140 grain hot core SP and Viht have load data for 139 grain SCENAR and 144 grain FMJ. The Speer data list AR Comp, CFE223, TAC, IMR8208 which I happen to have. Speer also list powders I currently don’t possess and I think I could come up with a safe load.
