I keep checking on Grendel at my favorite online ammo supplier, SGAmmo. Grendel Wolf steel-case at SGAmmo is starting to drop from a high of $0.75 each or was it higher at one point?!? down to $0.66.
Will we ever see it at $0.25, again? If we do, YOU won't see it cuz I'm buying it ALL.

Not sure about SG as I don't use them (won't ship to NY) but I've seen Wolf priced at $1 per.
The last case I bought was from Brownells for .23 per - shipped. Should have bought more.

I was in a local Turner's sport shop the other day, to see what powders they might have. Then wandered over to where their rifle ammo is sold. They had two boxes of Hornady Black on the shelf. $29.95 a box. I left them where I found them. That's just too much for me.
BTW, this is in San Diego, CA, in case it matters. Buying loaded ammo has become a hassle here. I've not done it since the law went into affect. Not sure at this point if I ever will again. My money goes toward reloading components. |
