12.5” SBR Suppressed Gas Length?

Hi guys, I’ve seen a lot of topics on this in the search function but nothing that I could find a concrete answer on.

I’m building a 12.5 SBR that will run non suppressed until I get my nomad 30, but once I do it will almost always be ran with a can.

I’m getting a criterion barrel from Mark over at PF but I’m kinda getting stressed out over which gas length to go with. I can choose mid or carbine.

From what I’m being told, mid length will be fine for both setups, but I’m scared of the possibility of being under gassed.

Also, regardless of which gas length, is it a good idea to get the superlative adjustable gas block?

I have 2 12" set ups. One group buy faxon and one krieger from mark at precision firearms. One is carbine and one is mid. Both have adjustable gas block and both have jpscsH2 buffers. Both shoot suppressed all the time with no issues. I would recommend adjustable gas block or adjustable gas bolt carrier group shooting suppressed.
