I picked this used from a buddy and was going to try it out on my grendel. Never got around to it and have installed the YHM QD mount for my suppressor that is almost here. It is the 9/16 RH thread pitch.

Is this a brake specifically for 6.5 or a larger caliber-6.8 or other? Who is manufacturer? Any wrench flat or use a dowel or round stock to install?

It looks like one of Ross Schuler's SS brakes. I have one on my Grendel to keep it on target with a scope. Works good, though I haven't tried any other one on my Grendel to compare it to. I use a dowel to put it on or take it off. Mine came 9/16-24.
