Thoughts on ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X

I found a new, never opened ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X for $400 that caught my eye. I know it is no longer cutting edge, but I don't get to hunt much and even less at night. This would be used maybe 5-10 times per year. So, I'm not looking to sink a lot of money into a night vision scope, but I don't want a steaming pile either. The 4K Pro is "just" a couple hundred more, but there are other things I could spend that on equally easily.

So, will I be able to shoot hogs with it at 100 yards? It seems like a good deal, but I always like to hear opinions.

Also, I'm still waiting on my LaRue UU in 6.5G to be shipped. That is what the scope will go on. Someday...

thats my hd 2 3-14x in daylight at 75-100+ yards ,
i do think the hd2 is nicer at night depending on range past 250-300y i prefer the 4k but that may only be cause my 4k is a 5-20x model

downside to the hd 2 is that it runs on 4 aa batteries and u need to use expsensive lithium batteries if u want decent run time , the cost of thos ebatteries quickly adds up to the cost of the atn power pack so if u get the hd 2 dont even waster ur time on aa batts and just buy the rechargable power pack


also u will need to buy a ir illuminator i highly recomend the sniper hog lights 66lrx for 100 bucks
