Spent most of the day at the range trying to get a decent load for the 90-grain Nosler Varmegeddons in my Howa. Not very encouraging actually. I used Benchmark in loads from 29.0 to 30.0 in .2 increments. Velocites chronoed from 2630 to 2735. Due to the design of my range I always start load work-ups at 50Y. Unless a load shoots .5 or preferably less it isnt a candidate for further development. Todays loads were mostly .6 and .7. Best was .48. Anybody having better results from the fine little bullets? Im starting to figger my rifle doesnt like em, at least not with Benchmark.

Had good luck with h335 and ar comp so far. No luck with 8208xbr and haven't tried benchmark yet. I did notice a difference when switching primers from rem 7 1/2 to cci450's, better accuracy with the cci's.

Thanks. Im limited on powders for the Grendel right now. Bmark is about my best option and it does very well for other bullets 123s and 129s especially but not so much for the 90s apparently. Next up will be some 100s. Let us hope!

I havent tried the 90s in the RAP yet. Maybe it will like em.

IMR 8208 worked good for me with the 90 varm..
