I know you guys probably already have a lot of spa appointments already scheduled for that week......but if you can break away to hunt with me or at least come by and have a cup of coffee with me that would be great.
I have a brand new Thermion XM38 that came in Monday that I am hunting with for the first time.
Using 129ABLR?s for the first time as well.

I will keep you posted 65, very excited about ABLR’s.
This new scope has a bit of a learning curve. I’ve used a Photon RT for a long time, this is my first thermal.
When the instructions say “ All of the main menu functions are intuitive” you need to run like heck.
I spent all day at the club getting comfortable with the operation of the scope.
Last night I made stalks on every cow in Cobb Co.

Your preparation sounds better than most folks that I know that get a new scope. I don't know if I can swing hunting, but maybe we could meet for a meal? I will text you...
I don't know most folks know what intuitive means, LOL. I have used all of Pulsar's thermals. None were intuitive. Some you could figure out pretty easily, but that isn't the same thing.

If it wasn't a weekday I could almost justify the drive (excuse to get out for a bit outside of my normal area). Plus it'd be nice to a side by side with the XM & XP 38's.
Sadly no one is "cross trained" to do my job so taking time off is an act of congress. Have fun & slaughter all you can or run em further up north :p!

Don't know his load for it but he said the 129gr Accubond Long Range is the bullet this time around. I would expect large perminant entry wounds and a lot of damage in the first 7 +/- depending on shot location and angle with very goo penetration from the shank of the bullet. Hopefully he will report with pictures
