Was told by club manager that another groups of hogs were tearing up areas on range.
Since it rained earlier in day, I figured hogs might be out, decided to see if they would show up.
Arrived on property and made my way to area they were tearing up.
Thru my night vision, saw a group of hogs out in open feeding.
Moon was out tonight and high, so I put trees and brush between me and hogs while I closed the distance.
Finally got to my target bush and peered around edge to see what I had. There were about 6-7 hogs in this group and they were starting to move.
I was going to shoot the first 2 moving when I scanned back and saw what was obviously a sow, decided I would shoot her first. Figured the rest would scatter after the shot.
Sent a Nosler 120BT at her shoulder, saw her go down, the other hogs froze, looking back at the one I shot, then they started to move.
I sent 3 more rounds, thought I made good shots, but hogs were running all around now.
Went to first shot, she was twitching and I kept watching her to see if she would recover, she eventually stopped moving. Then started searching around for others.

Found second maybe 20yds away from first, she looked to have taken a shoulder shot, because she left a very visible blood trail, the Nosler 120BT hit her hard.

After dragged both together, noted they were sows, dragged them off road in brush for disposal in morning.

Club manager was pleased.
