Hi everyone from Long Island!
Just built my first 6.5 and looking to try it out to 1,000. Hoping to learn more about this wonderful caliber and see what it can do. Cheers!

So far just one upper in 6.5 Grendel. 20" barrel, non threaded because NY. No 1,000 yards on Long Island but I go a couple of times a year to Ridgeway, PA... awesome range! What are the NY requirements for an AR? I'm a former upstate NYer who still has family there.
