Do 264 LBC and 6.5 grendel get along?

So i just placed an order with Satern for a new barrel in 264 LBC for my AR build. They assured me that I would have know issues feeding this thing grendel ammo. Does anyone object or have any experience with this yet?

Satern is correct, you should have no problem. Proof will be in the shooting. From what I've read the 264 LBC throat is a couple thousands of an inch tighter than the Grendel, theoretically for improved accuracy. The Grendel chamber was design to be more forgiving when feeding different bullet types of ammo.

So my questions are:
Is the 264 LBC more accurate than a 6.5 Grendel?
and
Does the Grendel feed better or have less problems than the 264 LBC?

Anyone have any experience with either?

I've used a few of each, and noticed no differences regarding accuracy and reliability.

I talked with Saturn a while back. The .264 LBC barrels they make now are the same barrel they used to make with the Grendel name on it. For some reason or another they stopped using the Grendel name on thier product (I'm not going to speculate cause it doesn't matter).

It's a good barrel.

As for whether or not .264 LBC is better than Grendel. The only difference is that some of the other .264 barrels use a tighter throat area in their barrels. Some factory ammo has had problems chambering in some of the "Non Grendel" barrels. Non of which (if I remember correctly) where Saturn barrels.

I have a few issus with a .264LBC barrel but it was not made by Satern. I also have a Grendel barrel which was made by Satern and I believe really is .264LBC an it has no issues.
