Diamondback Firearms barrel is good to go - MOA and better

I had a spare Bear Creek ARSEnal receiver and BCG laying around and so I decided to try the only barrel that Diamondback (DB) sells at its online store.

99 bucks

For a nitride 1:8 twist , threaded 5/8x24 with 11 degree crown midlength gas , .750 gas block barrel

I just shot about 20 rounds through it suppressed and with my 120 gr Gold Dot handloads and factory Hornady Black 123 gr ELD-M.

3 shot groups at .750”

Good to Go guys for a 100 dollar barrel !!!

I have 3 of their 308 shop built rifles. They are masters of disaster on hogs at any range. They all shoot MOA or better.

Diamondback is hard to beat for the money, They are accurate, they function and they are reasonably priced. I have several of their rifles.

I zeroed in 3 different loads with a Pulsar APEX XQ50 thermal optic (2.8x) base magnification. at 100 yards.

I was shocked to find out that all three loads shoot to nearly the same point of impact - this $ 120 Diamondback barrel seems to shoot a wide variety of bullets into MOA patterns with ease and I like that they are landing very near to each other.
