It's hard to find right now in FDE. If it was black could get a pretty good deal. Let me check with some fiends in Spokane. They sell a bunch of Aero stripped uppers and lowers. He had about 70 of the Aero Precision Gen 2 lowers in stock when I talked to him yesterday.

80 bucks at Primary Arms. Was 60 pre Black Friday. I just picked mine up from my FFL today along with matching upper receiver for my 30-357 (I’ve decided that’s what I’m calling my 300 BLK pistol )

Edit - never mind - Primary has the Gen 2 X15. I like an oversized trigger guard for glove weather and am not crazy about the integrated bolt catch screw on my M5e1. (Don’t overtighten it! The bolt catch will rotate and interfere with loading mags. Plus it may result in unexpected bolt releases!)

After putting my 30-357 lower together last night, my guess is that overtightening won’t be nearly as big of an issue on an M4 as it is on an M5 lower. And I will admit to having to dig into one of my “frequently lost parts” kits after the bolt catch detent was launched across the room getting the roll pin set. I think it’s in a rather large aloe plant.

I Love those. Heard and saw it launch, but never heard it land, or if you did, it just happens to be the same color as the area if landed. Little black part, black potting soil, or your carpet has little black accent threads that you just noticed.

They sure do make for a purty pistol. 10” ALG EMR V0 rail in desert dirt arrives tomorrow. Black 10” BHW barrel should arrive in a week or so. Screw on black KAK flashcan and as Slappy would say BANG! BANG!

Lol - that’s my trusty ole Ruger GP 100 threefiddyseven. 300 BLK has always reminded me of a necked down 357 and they even use the same powders.

I picked up my black Aero M4E1 lower yesterday as well as a black Aero Gen 2 lower. To tell the truth, I haven't even taken them out of the box yet. The M4E1 will be for my 12" group buy pistol build and the Gen 2 is for my "budget" build. My son may be the guinea pig for the budget build. I'll post pics later today.

I ordered 4 M4E1 upper lower receiver groups(lower parts included) from Aero on cyber monday! Great deal!
Gonna do my group 20" and 12" barrels with 2 and one for a 10.5" next!

Here is the M4E1 compared to the Gen 2. Both good lowers. I can't find my scale at the moment, but the M4E1 feels noticeably heaver.
