Looks like they're using a tension adjustable leaf spring and ball detent arrangement. Interesting approach.

Can't link the images for some reason, tried code, html, and other ways, but flickr has it worked out so it is extremely difficult to do, at least for me.

Looks pretty slick, any field testing yet? Specifically, how easily does the latch get released being that its just a ball detent? Any snagging issues causing it to get pulled out of position? I have heard of some guys not liking the BCM Gunfighter ones due to the latch catching on chest rigs and getting pulled out of position.
