If you look at magazine articles and internet advertising, they really pumped up the 300 AAC. I bet if you asked major ammo manufacturers what they are cranking out the most, it would surprise a lot of people.

I get truly annoyed with a world where folks feel they must vote multiple times because the other side almost certainly is.

Nonetheless, even with the fuzziness of the ongoing returns, is is gratifying to see that a cartridge we all know to be the best in its class doing so well. The results are especially encouraging because they are happening in spite of dedicated large corporation ad campaigns and not just a little internet hooey and trolling.

That history also suggests that there are multiple votes for at least one of the other cartridges. I'll bet the .223 tally is accurate and the numbers for #2 & #3 reflect a little bit of ballot box stuffing.

Hmm... A hollow victory, as I can't imagine getting from 1352 to 1413 overnight. Unless, of course, all the night shifters, along with the European contingent of the Horde were active in the last 10 1/2 hours. I suspect in reality, some cookie bandits were at work.

It was published in a magazine last year, was one of the $11 magazines, I spend too much money on. I suspect it will be published again, the next one of those mags is coming out next month I think.

There is a huge number of folks whose only AR is a 223/556. Your observation might explain why the Grendel & 6.8 are so close to the .2235/5.56.
