This is my best group for Friday. Shots fired at 300 yds, 2550avg fps out of a 24" satern cut rifled barrel. I finally found what this gun likes.

I have a few hundred of the 123gr NCC's, and I think I will be loading them up when I start development on some of these new barrels.

Looks like I am going to re-visit my NCC's. I have been loading nothing Hornadys because they do so well. I almost forget about the NCCs. Did you try more than 26.6 gr. of 8208? What was the COAL?

26.8 performed the best, at 27.0 I saw 1.75" groups at 300 yds. My Col is limited due to a "short throated" barrel (non group buy cut rifled). So my Col with this bullet is 2.220 putting me .020 off the lands. Several guys came forward with nosler load info but none with my crazy length restrictions. The nosler has fatter profile more towards the tip of the bullet versus an amax or scenar. The moral of the story is more is not always better.

123 NCC G1 BC = .510 (same as 123 A-Max and 123 SMK)

123 Scenar G1 BC = .527

Nice! I have 500 of the NCC waiting to get loaded with CFE, may have to look at this powder as well.

My father in law has groups at 5/8 of an inch with 123 scenars and blc2 powder at 300 yards. Also had 1" at 300yds with cfe and 123 scenars.
