399 days later I am now officially a member of the Grendel Hoard. Didn't get a couple of magazines I ordered but got the dies, brass and most importantly a 20" upper. I've already slapped it on a lower I built for it and stuck on a Leupold 3x9 in an ASSALT mount and fired off 2 rounds to test. So far, so good. Now the fun begins.

I am at 647 days waiting on my satern 22" barrel I figure there will be a few more months since lat I spoke to them they were still working on 16-18 inch barrels, but congrats on getting your upper and welcome to the hoard

I got a 20" entry level. The invoice says "Flat Top Upper. 19.5" stainless steel match lapped barrel, free float hand guard." It's an Alexander Arms upper.

You got me beat. I have been waiting on a 24 inch Satern Cut rifled Barrel for only 14 months. They keep on saying they are waiting for bolts. Now they have 2 sources of bolts
we might get the barrels a little quicker. Who knows we can only hope.

They are making Bolts in house now, Should be soon on Satern.... AA good luck, the norm seems to be allow orders to pour in, never mention Backorder then hold their money forever until they get fed up and cancel.

Thats good AA is getting stuff out. I got a Grendel Hard Use bolt in 45 days and got my notification my 17HMR Upper is in the mail. I've been waiting on the 17HMR for a little over a year but they had to re-work the mag release to meet Bill's approval so it must have finally happened.

Cheap shooting coming on the way...and accurate, I love my Savage bolt 17HMR.

I didn't pay AA till yesterday for my 17HMR. They charge when the package is sent out. At least that's what has happened for everything I got from them.

AA didn't charge my credit card until the day they mailed my upper. They also contacted me and verified everything was still correct and I still wanted it a couple weeks before they built it.

I got a chance to go shoot a little this morning. Had a box of factory Hornady 123 A-Max's. The box said a muzzle velocity of 2580. The first shot over the Magneto was 2579. First rifle I've had that was that close to a "published velocity" so to speak. Shot about 15 rounds total and got it on paper. Still needs fine tuning but I got to get to work on some loads since that is probably the only box of factory I'll buy for it.
