CZ527 precision gunsmith recommendations?

Sorry for the side street turn, do we have a summary thread for conversion projects? Something that lists what the donor rifles are, which calibers were used, barrel suppliers, amount of work involved to convert (whether Smith is required)...

And today I put one of those aftermarket longer bolt handles from Custom Reloading Tools on my 527. The scope is a 2x10 by 50 with a 30mm tube. The rings are Millet medium. I conclude that with the longer aftermarket bolt handle I'll probably change to the LOW Millet rings. There should still be plenty of room!

I was lucky that my youngest's CZ527 Christmas present came with the new bolt. It clears the Vortex 4-16x50 FFP well enough for a palm technique. The cheek weld.... er.... jaw weld is enough of a problem that I ordered one of these:

I confess that we are really enjoying leaving expended cases on the ground. That 7.62x39 was 28¢ per round. The projectiles alone for the Grendel are costing me that..... I know.... apples and oranges.... er... dollars and cents.

With this scope I think we are stuck with the factory CZ rings. I do not think we'd clear it with lower rings.

The Triad tactical stock pack solved the cheek weld problem on the CZ527.

I use the Blackhawk one(s). I will say they work, it's just that there is something I dont quite like about them. I'll add the Triad to the list of things I want to try.
