spare bolt??

Hi all,

What, exactly, would a person have to do to get a spare bolt ready to drop in your existing Grendel rifle?

Probably a simple question with a complicated answer, but give it a try, please

Maybe I'm miss-understanding your question, but the best thing to do is place a backorder and wait it out. My AA bolts just came in last week. I now have spare 6.5G and .50 Beo bolts. I would hate to have a problem and then have to wait for a replacement. I'm stocking up on spare parts now. This past panic was a wake up call for me.

Maybe you want to know how to modify an existing bolt? If so - I will let others answer that.

Does anyone have the info on the testing that Under Ground did for the bolts? Mark at PF did a lot of testing on the Maxim bolts to get where we are. Just making them is part of the equation. Proprer shot peen, hardening and milling is required, this isn't just a simple process and where did this "Under Ground" come from? Who have they been making product for and how long?

Might just be another fishing real company making parts because the fishing business is slow, it isn't just that they can make something. We have seen this before in the firearms industry.

I assure you, we are NOT a fishing reel company. Underground Tactical is strictly a weapons manufacturing company. We started manufacturing our own weapons and suppressors and when the weapons ban rush happened at the end of 2012 BCGs were not available anywhere. While in the background we have been working very hard getting parts perfect, finding the best material suppliers, quality heat treaters and finishers. Because of our high quality, police agencies and SWAT teams around Texas have accepted our weapons and put us on their approved weapons list. This approved weapons list is extremely hard to get on. They put our weapons through some very extreme tests. This has made us very proud.

I appreciate your detailed response and glad your not the fishing real kind of scam. I am, and other manufactures, are leary of the companies that just apear from out of the wood work or from the "Underground", cool name by the way..... I hope all is accurate and look forward to your companies support for the entire firearms community.

More so for the Grendel as this is my current emphisis to get this cartridge out there in the hands of Americans who like to Hunt! Here in Va and many other states the Modern Sporting Rifle is growing and the name "AR-15" is being replaced with MSR. That is my goal and if you can make the internal parts, that is awesome...
