So, the bottom line is that this thread was only for checking the pulse for a group buy, but nothing else. Asking to put one's name on a non-existent list is a colossal waste of time, at this point. Having read most of the 30 pages (to this point) over the last few weeks, it is easy to see that there is a need/want for Grendel bolts, but does that come as a surprise to anyone? I wouldn't think so.

My take away on all this is that 1) There is no group buy, and never was. 2) People still need bolts for their various projects. 3) Someone is making bolts, but there is no direct path to getting in line.

Well said! I do think that determining how the strong pulse was out here allowed Maxim the confidence to take the plunge with anticipation that the market for the bolts will stay strong. Thereby assuring a return on their startup investment, especially when Precision Firearms was willing to handle the sales aspect.

I am keeping tab on this thread. Rest Easy guys, I will make sure to get you folks the bolts. No I will not be hording more than I need. I think it fair to limit each customer to 2 bolts and After 2 weeks if there are any left, we will open it up for more. We already have another 250 being made on top the first batch. Extractors are being made up too.

I will not take money for product I don't have a certain for sure date of arrival. But I will post on this thread and start a new one as soon as we have them ready. Along with Package deals on Billet or Forged Uppers, Hand guards, Carriers, Brakes, and BCM charging handles. 15% of listed Normal Prices (not MSRP). That means $185 For our Uppers Loaded, Bolts are going to be $75 from what I can math to together. Handguards will be from 15 percent discounted. Email list of parts you guys are wanting to my email and I custom quote each one. Carrier with small parts (firing pin, cam etc) when purchased with bolt will be $115 in NIB and $85 for Mellonite. This is only good for packages containing at least 2 item and will only be advertised on the forum. You may spread the word as you like but we are mainly interested in helping 65grendel forum members and their friends.

+1 Although this tread was started by Cory who started the Lilja group buy thread, I didn't get the impression that the discussion for the group bolt buy was exclusively for "them". XCR also has many onboard for the Liberty group buy and they/we are also interested in bolts/BCG's for our builds. It appears more and more likely that Precision Firearms may need to limit purchases of the bolts so that as many buyers as possible can be happy. Not 50 buyers who want 5 bolts each. JMHO.

tedward, Sputnik and xcountryrider If was you three I would temper my comments with known facts and not BS swag. Have you ever dealt with Alexander arms and
tried to have a broken bolt or extractor fixed. If you had you would know you cant not get spare parts from them for your Grendel. I have orders in going over 15 months
for spare parts for my Grendel and cant get them. second if you read my post it said when available. so 5 , 10 or 20 bolts, extractors etc may not be available in one order to two or even three. As far as profiteering sputnik make sure of your facts before you make blanket statements. In my case you know not what you speak of.

Tango. If this is my swag sorry for not answering correctly. I too have extractors and bolts on order from AA for over a year and have no idea if they will ever ship.
This is why the members worked to get bolts made. I sent my personal unused AA bolt in for measuring and still don't have it back because he is using it as the master template. Once we get bolts as PF said they are going to run another batch. Maybe they will run more extractors so there are spares. Maybe they already did. So I don't spread rumors ask the question on e-mail to PF as he asked people to send in requests 2 posts back.

Lighten up. It's coming together.

Tango, my comments were directed toward nobody specific, only that the bolt buy was for everybody's benefit; not just for Lilja group builders. OBE now, as the limit is two bolts for the first two weeks. I hope you get your 10 extractors, I really do! And yes, I have dealt with AA. I cancelled my AA orders for an upper, ammo, mags and more...and received awesome service from Mark at Precision Arms. I had a PF upper ready to ship within four weeks of ordering. Also, that the hypothetical: that IF there are people ordering intending to flip for profit; that it wasn't a prudent option. Easy does it...steady the course, we will soon have access to bolts....Happy Thanksgiving!

Post #304 talked about some discounts. I thought I saw a price of 75 for bolts. Then, I think he decided to do a Black Friday promotion instead. If you want the bolts coated I think they are 10 bucks more. Bolts are there now; under Grendel barrel/bolts. Not sure if the discount was working for them as another members post says he was having some trouble seeing the discount for the bolts. I saw a 5% Black Friday discount on the two bolts I ordered. The initial price was 80.00, then 10.00 for the coating X 2 (for 2 bolts) = 180. I got 5 % off so they took off 9.00 for the two bolts.
