I would like to know the actual percent of crimes committed with firearms that are put in trust . I bet it would be like .00000000001%. This is just more nonsense and propaganda by the left so they can say they are tough on crime and making us safer. Bread and circuses.

The last time I looked at the data was in 1994. In all the years since the National Firearms Act, there was one crime committed using a registered NFA weapon (by a cop). I doubt that rate has skyrocketed. If anyone has contrary data, I am all ears.

I didn't say you had 'done nothing' I was just trying to say if it frustrates you why not oppose it with a petition. You're right that it may not make a difference with our dictator president anyways which is even more frustrating to me. Which give me even more incentive to stand up and voice my frustration to the present, senator, state rep, etc. Cause if we stand by and do nothing it will only get worse. I laugh every time I write Feinstein cause her response always starts with, 'Although we disagree'. The laws they propose only seems to get more and more ridiculous everyday, I can only hope we will start to sway the other way and have everyone realize more laws aren't the answer. But I'm dreaming...

I like the succinct wisdom of Manny Fernandez in the fight against the Roberti-Roos Act: "Politicians only understand pain." Both Roberti and Roos fell to the pain of our grassroots campaign. They got their AW ban in CA, but they paid dearly for it. Gun owners throughout the state had letter writing parties and wrote letters to every single one of Roberti and Roos' constituents. The letters discussed the non-RKBA dirt that we had on them. Roberti and Roos were booted out of office as a direct result of direct action by gun-owners. It wasn't a frontal assault about gun issues, but we used compelling dirt that resonated with every voter regardless of their 2A leanings. Every politician in California (and many outside of California) knew that gun owners did Roberti and Roos in as payback.

A similar lesson was learned by gun ban politicians in the '92 election—PAIN.

Short memories mean that the PAIN lesson needs to be re-learned.

Impeachment (or efforts to have him prosecuted for war crimes) is the only legal pain that can be inflicted on the Kenyan.

The only thing that has any realistic hope of derailing Obama's "executive" usurpations of the Second Amendment is to keep him busy day and night with pain and humiliation of impeachment proceedings (or a war crimes trial).
