There is a simple answer and that would be go to another source that has the ammo on hand. AA tends to have long wait times if waiting is not in your future why order from them? I am patiently waiting for parts since early December, because Bill is the designer of the Grendel and that is exactly why I am waiting for my parts! Bill has a very unique business location on a military installation. There are not very many businesses that are allowed to operate on a military installation. I do not know exactly why he is allowed to operate there but I can speculate. There has been a lot of interest in the Gendel in the military world that is where I learned about the Grendel. It was a retired Special Forces Operator that introduced me to the Grengel world. I consider myself lucky to be waiting AA parts.

Ok, the way I understand it is the bolt is put into a press so the lugs set on the surface, I guess like a tube to put all the load on the lugs. Then a press with some great pressure is used and a hardened object, dowel, is placed on the surface of the bolt face where the bullet would make contact. Then pressure is applied, I don't know if they put 50,000 lbs and increase for it to withstand 70,000 lbs or it to explode at 80,000 lbs. I don't know the lbs that are acceptable and when they call it good or what the acceptable parameters are.
Maybe Precession Firearms can clear the air on this process. Mark??

Frank sent me a text today and did say the Complete BCG is going to be available. Once the items are ready and distribution is set up info will follow with pricing.
Tedward, thanks again for keeping the info coming. If available, I think I'll opt for 2 complete BCG's instead of just the bolts.

There in the milling process now and the way he made it sound, some will be going out for heat treating and shot peening then testing next week or two. All I can say is you will have them before the barrels are done if that helps. I would like to get one to Dan as soon there ready so that will be top priority too.

Put me down for two. It may be a faster way to get them than waiting on Alexander Arms. Ordered several items in January and not heard a peep from them since then. Darn good thing that they don't charge anything up front.
I would be interested in getting one complete bolt or BCG if at a reasonable price. Sorry if I missed it, but is this going to be a group or individual order?
