One thing in USA, there is a clause NOT to SHIP CERTAIN FIREARM PARTS OUT of USA. I do not know the laws but that might be an issue for you getting parts. If you were in the military, it could ship thru a APO but that is the only way I would ship out of the states. Others may know more on this.

That´s one other reason to manufacture my own. Maybe I will also design a "Hard Use" Bolt with corresponding Barrelextension - this would have a design similar to a Torx wrench (inspired from the Knight´s SR-25)

Good Luck...Also I too have been to Germany many times years ago and only learned a little of the German Language, Good-n-slick, Good-n-firm and Good-n-tight...

Also BMW's and Mercedes show how well Germany Engineering is...

Hi guys, sorry that it took so long but my life got turbulent the last months but the first bolt prototype is almost ready:

As announced: 6.5mm Grendel Bolt,
Face depth of 0.134 +/-
Steel; 42CrMo4 case hardened
not surface plated, yet! It will receive the announced CrN coating in the first calender week in 2014.
I will use a 7,62x39 extractor, it will also be CrN coated.









I am very sorry that it took four months instead of the promised four weeks!

More high quality parts are good for 6.5grendel shooters.

I think your bolts will make a lot of people happy.

Hi there!

I will finish one completly and figure a way out to sell them. You´ll have to know, that they are considered as "weapon relevant items" in Germany and treated similar to lower receivers in the US.

Wow...i didn't even know that and I lived there and had a waffenbesitzkarte. I knew barrels were numbered and "kind of like lowers in the US" if you like. Sorry man, that must be tough.
