Bolt Question

Bought another upper but the bolt and side charging handle I have will not fit. Will the bolt be just fine without the charging handle in the new upper?

if your tying to use a side charging bcg in a non side charging upper that is the source of your problem, but you should be able to use it with the handle removed as the standard charging handle uses the gas key to move the bolt as long as your side charging bcg is a modified mil spec

Yes, just wondering if the bolt will work with out the handle and no gases will be an issue or the bolt will be structurally sound with the charging handle removed?

It will be fine with handle removed. I shoot mine al the time without, no troubles as of yet.
