French soldier attacked by Arab in Paris
but why was a soldier patrolling a business area to begin with? D4mn gentiles.
Quote:A bearded attacker wearing an Arab-style garment stabbed a French soldier in the neck as he was patrolling a business area of western Paris on Saturday, according to reports. The unidentified man, believed to be of North African origin, quickly fled the scene.
A manhunt is currently underway.
The soldier, patrolling as part of Frances Vigipirate anti-terrorist surveillance plan, was injured in the stabbing around 1800 p.m. but would survive, the source said, Reuters reports.
It was the French daily Le Parisien that first reported police as saying the suspected attacker was a bearded man of North African origin, about 30-years-old and was wearing an Arab-style garment under his jacket.
The latest attack comes just days after two men killed soldier Lee Rigby by hacking his body with knives and a meat cleaver in front of dozens of passersby on Wednesday in the southeast London district of Woolwich. The horrific scene was recorded on witnesses cellphones, and a video has emerged showing one of the two suspects making political statements and warning of more violence as the soldier lay on the ground.

Having provided verifiable references for my main point, that the exhortations to behead "infidels" and "Christian idolaters" are common to Islam and Judaism and that both religions engage in murderous terror whether by knife or fire, I am calling you out on this "Jesuit Oath" nonsense.
I am a cradle Catholic and of my many years of Catholic education spent 6 years of collegiate and professional education in Jesuit schools. There is much to criticize, particularly among the contemporary Jesuits, e.g., pervasive homosexualism and Teilhardism, but there is no historical basis for your accusation of such a "Jesuit Oath." They do take (and, yes, they do violate) Vows of Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience, but no Oaths like you suggest.
Your accusation is like a bizarre exegesis of Psalm 136 conflated with a Jack Chick comic book.

I would say you need to take your own advice and recognize what you are spewing is not mainstream.
To wit:
http://www.jpost.com/Jewish-World/Judais...d-gentiles
Quote:Do these statements represent the normative view of the Torah and the prophets and the teachings of our great rabbis? To begin with, the Torah itself depicts all of humanity as descended from one human couple and, as the rabbis so eloquently put it in the Mishna, the reason for this was so that no one should say, My father is greater than your father (Sanhedrin 4:4).
http://talmud.faithweb.com/articles/kill.html
Quote:Robbing gentiles is absolutely forbidden and is dealt with in a separate section. Here we will demonstrate that in no way does the Talmud permit or encourage killing gentiles. Rather, it strictly forbids killing anyone, Jew or gentile.
The commandment "Thou shall not kill" is more correctly "Thou shall not murder".
A state has every right (international law/accord) to protect themselves from attack.
Finally, i daresay that the vast majority of people on this forum don't give a rats a$$ what you believe about Judaism, and don't really care for your constant diatribes (at every opportunity, including hijacking threads) that appear anti-semitic. As I've suggested previously, take your garbage elsewhere.
Keeping in accord with THIS THREAD, the British government has suggested that service members NOT wear their uniforms off post (the guy that was killed by the two muslim radicals WAS in civilian clothes). When I was on exchange with the RAF in the mid-late '90s, there was a similar prohibition, but was chiefly aimed at personal security against the IRA.

+10! I understand that everyone is entitled to free speech, but the constant bickering and pecker measuring contests should come to a halt. This is a technical forum with the exception of the 2A room, lets not abuse that or each other.
I despise as much as anyone what happened to that British soldier, but at this time I am trying to focus on the shortcomings of our current administration by staying in constant contact with my representatives, as everyone on this board should be doing at this time.

Richard
I think the incident highlights the importance of our inalienable and historical English Common Law self-protection and right to bear arms rights, which we enjoy in the US in most States. It brings about the issue of whether soldiers should be recognized the same rights as citizens here in the US, especially when you look at the terrorist Nadal Hassan mass murder at Fort Hood.
For the Brits to be begging the mohamedans for help in outing their true believers is insanity.

Unfortunately, this photo showcases the lack of desire to integrate. Between Sweden and Britain, this demonstrates the danger to America. The picture shows both immigrants to Britain as well as some who were born there.

Our right to bear arms isn't given by the 2A
that right pre-existed the Constitution and the 2A merely affirms/recognizes that pre-existing right.
It was a good thing our Founding Fathers included the Bill of Rights. Looking at Britain who once had the right of self protection in Common Law indicates what could happen here for want of the 2A (or if we neglect to insist on our rights) as LRRPF52 and others have indicated.

Not to beat a dead horse but there is a real problem with the western nations and our own country when dealing with Muslim murderers. In the July issue of SOF a feature article by Michael Carl exposes the mass annihilation of Christians in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Nigeria Sudan and Afghanistan. The very rebels we are helping in Syria are killing all the Christians they come across , many of them Iraqi citizens who fled the persecution that they escaped from in Iraq [after] we invaded that country. We just gave the Muslim brother hood in Egypt F16 fighters, M1 tanks and billions of dollars yet Christian persecution is government sanctioned. Christians had a better life under the dictators that we disposed of in Iraq, Egypt, and soon to follow in Syria and Jordon. It look's like we spent trillions of dollars, and sacrificed thousands of America's finest to advance the cause of radical Islam . We have Muslims in Dear born Michigan attacking Christians at a public event with the police passively ignoring it. I would like some one to try and explain the logic in these policy's. It look's to me we have a more serious problem in our own house that is advancing radical Islam rather than protecting us from it.

The west is supporting radical Islam to create a new enemy since the fall of the Soviet Union. It is an excuse to strip us peasants of our freedoms and transform this country into an Orwellian police state. USA-Under Surveillance Always. It is boon to military industrial complex. It is a boon to the central bankers. It is a boon to the leviathan State. It is the last gasp of a collapsing Empire. The boogey-men can be anywhere. War is the health of the State- Randolph Bourne

It is a crazy statement, or at least a paranoid statement typical from those who want to believe in conspiracy theories.
This began well before Obama came into office (at least CCl4 got that part right). It began with the fall of the Berlin wall and the dismantling of our military. Yes, our military is much, much smaller now than it was in 1991.
With the collapse of the Soviet Union and our withdrawal from many areas of the world in the name of the "peace dividend", there was a distinct power vacuum in the former "republics" that comprised the USSR. The Soviets (and Chinese) did a "magnificent" job in keeping radical islam in check. Without the USSR, radical islam was enabled to grow (in part from seeds we planted to keep the soviets busy).
Instead of engaging and rooting out the small weeds, we allowed them to grow and take root.
This is the result of the "peace dividend"…and the result of the "Bottom up Review". This is the result of not having the national intestinal fortitude to stay the course when engaging enemies instead of cutting and running when things get ugly.
This is how the USS Cole gets bombed in port when on a refueling stop (because Clinton cut all the oilers/tankers from the fleet as part of the peace dividend and Bottom up Review).
This is the result of not engaging al Qaeda after the first Twin Towers bombing…the result of lobbing missiles and asking for flight clearance from Pakistan (who tipped off bin Laden) instead of sending teams on the ground to capture/kill bin Laden (under Clinton) when we had him in our sights.
This is NOT some vast conspiracy to support the military industrial complex.
I don't believe Bush 43 intended to tread on our rights, but that is what happened with the Patriot Act. Obama certainly wants to transform this country, but not for the military industrial complex…but rather because he is a socialist at heart who happens to despise what Great Britain and the US have done in the past.
We (in the military) were talking about lower level threats (like radical islam) in the early 90's…Clinton and his administration failed to listen, recognize and act. For his part, Bush 43 was cruising along the same path when 9/11 wake up call came. Thank God algore wasn't in office then…

This doesn't explain the apathy this nation "government" seems to have towards Christian persecution around the world especially with our military and financial aid in Egypt , Afghanistan , and Iraq. The insanity of not profiling middle eastern people and groping old lady's in airports I could chalk up to the PC morons on the left who also want to end our gun rights , but not our policies I was talking about earlier. With out out financial support these country's would dry up and blow away. So why the apathy?

I call you on your straw man. I never said otherwise. A just state has every right (international law/accord) to protect themselves from attack no matter which religion attacks. Speaking of attacks, has anyone heard Ry Cooder's excellent new song No Banker Left Behind? Painfully funny.

As for the risible dissembling you cite, read a little history, would you?
While the origin of attacks against the early Christians was quite clear, the verbatim content of the Torah (the superseding Oral Torah, Torah She Beal'peh, not the Written Torah, Torah She Bich Tav) was largely unknown until converts like Nicholas Donin and Johannes Reuchlin revealed the horrifying content. The revelations were so horrifying (much more than I have provided here) that the rabbis were called to the Disputations at Tortosa (1413-1414 A.D.) and Paris (1240 A.D.). In each instance the rabbis were unable to defend the genocidal, blasphemous, and perverse content and necromancy. They admitted they had no defense, sooo.... In the intervening 5+ centuries, the rabbis created expurgated sanitized versions of the Torah for Gentile consumption and public relations, mostly in vernacular. It is those sanitized, self-censored vernacular editions to which contemporary rabbis point when the actual content is revealed. "See, it's not there." This is well-detailed by Princeton's Prof. of Judaic Studies Peter Schafer in his book Jesus in the Talmud (previously cited by me in post #49 on page 5 of this thread).
Revealingly, the latest English translation from the 1990's by Rabbi Adin Israel Steinsaltz ( Nasi of the recently reconvened Sanhedrin, first among his peers, and a very prolific exegete) pulled no punches, but there was such an uproar about the explicit anti-Gentile content so available to the English-speaking world that publication was suspended indefinitely. Because of that, the Steinsaltz English Translation remains incomplete, many missing Tractates.
The late humanitarian Prof. Israel Shahak provided many examples of how Torah content was sanitized. Here is an example of gross racism by Maimonides that has been concealed in translation, or rather lack of translation of Kushim. Check it out in Google Books:
Quote:"Some of the Turks and the nomads in the North, and the Blacks and the nomads in the South, and those who resemble them in our climates. And their nature is like the nature of mute animals, and according to my opinion they are not on the level of human beings, and their level among existing things is below that of a man and above that of a monkey, because they have the image and the resemblance of a man more than a monkey does." Maimonides explaining who is not fit “to participate in the world to come,” Guide for the Perplexed, Book III, chapter 51 cited in Israel Shahak, Hebrew University Professor, Jewish History, Jewish Religion: The Weight of Three Thousand Years. London: Pluto Press, 1997. p. 25.
http://tinyurl.com/yew88mb
Another example is Steven Spielberg's bowdlerized Talmud quote fabricated for the publicity in the run up for his Schindler's List movie: "He who saves a single life, saves the entire world." The problem is that the actual quote even in the relatively sanitized Soncino English edition reads: "Whosoever preserves a single soul of Israel, Scripture ascribes to him as if he had preserved a complete world" (Tractate Sanhedrin 37a). Gentile lives have no such value.
Also, when you cite the supposed authorities using expurgated editions, I remind you that Rabbi Adin Israel Steinsaltz, the man who fills Caiaphas' shoes today, described 6 categories of permissible lying:
(1) scholarship (including Torah scholarship), (2) sexuality, and (3) hospitality
The Talmud: The Steinsaltz Edition, Vol II, p.49
(4) lying to gentiles (Baba Kamma 113a)
(5) for "peace" (meaning, "it's OK to lie to keep out of trouble") (Yebamoth 65b)
(6) when everyone should know you are lying, "guzmah" (Hullin 90b)
Here is another nugget from Rabbi Steinsaltz that you may check for yourself:
Quote:“Rabbis are liable to alter their words, and the accuracy of their statements is not to be relied upon.” The Talmud: The Steinsaltz Edition, Vol. II, pp. 48-49.
As I previously said, I am happy to drop this unless you continue trying to defend the indefensible.
BjornF16 Wrote:It is a crazy statement, or at least a paranoid statement typical from those who want to believe in conspiracy theories....
"Conspiracy theory" is another one of those magical curse words that is intended to immediately stop all incisive analysis. In these days of the internet in which it is difficult to conceal evidence, "conspiracy theory" is also losing its magic.
