Off-Duty British Soldier Ran Over, then Beheaded by 2 Islamic Radicals in London

Von Gruff Wrote:This is not a US problem as much as it a western cultural problem that is handicapped by PC doctrines that are fostered by the islamic enablers and sympathisers who also happen to have major influence on the media so the majority of the unlerned have no earthly idea about what is actually going on. They are misinformed to think these are all are singular incidents that have no conection to anyone other than the perpertraters and are wholly ignorant of the fact that civilisation is at war and only one side is doing anything about it.
There is a "them and us" and the only thing that keeps them from showing thier hand are the numbers they have in any one place at any time. You only have to see what is happening in parts of Brittan, France and much of Europe and Australia to see that when thier numbers grow to where they have suficient density to create enclaves they very quickly become no go areas for non muslims and the violence and persecution radiates outward from these areas.

Very true Von Gruff. It definitely isn't just an American thing, I was a bit remiss in only describing it from a US perspective.

I wish the Americans (and others) could pull their damn PC blinders off and see what is already happening in the UK and other areas.

Wolves and Hyenas might have the right to exist in their isolated and currently wild natural environment, and/or game preserves somewhere, but it is idiocy to let them run free amongst us.

Unlike a Hyena, Islam isn't even a genetic code. I would contend that by it's very nature of being hostile towards (and incapable of peacefully coexisting with) other belief systems---- It has no right to exist among them.

ETA: Because of the nature of my employement, I pass on commenting on many contentious topics here, and I frequently pull short on a lot of the rest of the things I say. I probably shouldn't publicly post this either, but having been over "there" twice I feel absolutely compelled to state the following: The "religion" known as "Islam" is both a curse and a plague upon this world, and accordingly should be utterly extinguished. Period. If it were in my power, I'd see every last vestige of that faith obliterated. The people who subscribe to it could either give it up forever, or go extinct with it.

For all those who stand on the ramparts we are all eternally gratefull for your service. There are, however, many more who serve in this war without the recourse to military means.
This conversation can really only skirt around the periphery of the the subject without crossing a possible forum barrier and bringing a spiritual dimension to the table. Like many other places where this subject is raised there is a tendency to deal with the endgame violence, whether it be planes being flown into buildings, or bombing trains and busses and down to the individualistic insanities like the Boston bombing or the London beheading, and leaving out the root cause. The root cause is not that islam has a fundamentally flawed ideology with violence and degradation for all those overcome by its ravenous doctrine or the intended spread of its evil dominance in ever increasing areas but that there is a spiritual battle that is being waged between good and evil.

Von Gruff, you are now quoted in my signature! First time I've ever used a quote from someone still alive!
”You seek escape from pain. We seek the achievement of happiness. You exist for the sake of avoiding punishment. We exist for the sake of earning rewards. Threats will not make us function; fear is not our incentive. It is not death that we wish to avoid, but life that we wish to live.” - John Galt

Thank you, Von Gruff. Very eloquent. I have made a copy and squirreled it away for later re-reading and dissemination.

I think what's biting us in our collective asses is the encroaching stain of moral relativism and its unholy matrimony with our western reverence for freedom. Far too many of us see the word "religion" and instantly try to defend it as we would have our own religions defended. But the moral relativism blinds us to the fact that this religion we reflexively protect has, at its core, the drive to extinguish our own, and any others it encounters.

Too many of us cannot take the cognitive dissonance, however, and so we've created this cloak of "moderate Islam" to protect ourselves from the hard truth. And so, the battle, when it does finally come, will be lopsided at best, and probably not in our favors. But then, when did we ever expect a fair fight?

Mankind has been faced with evil, cloaked in civilisation or enforced under ocupation, from Creation on down untill today and forward untill it will ultimately be defeated for good.
It is the outworking of the good that we were raised in (and whether it offends some in our society now or not), it has been the Christianity of our forfathers that has been the foundation of the free and sucessfully progressive countries we live in that has caused us to look with compassion toward the less priveledged. We preach tolerence but are not tolerated in return.
From
The Open Society and Its Enemies
by Karl Popper

"the paradox of tolerance : Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. — In this formulation, I do not imply, for instance, that we should always suppress the utterance of intolerant philosophies; as long as we can counter them by rational argument and keep them in check by public opinion, suppression would certainly be unwise. But we should claim the right to suppress them if necessary even by force; for it may easily turn out that they are not prepared to meet us on the level of rational argument, but begin by denouncing all argument; they may forbid their followers to listen to rational argument, because it is deceptive, and teach them to answer arguments by the use of their fists or pistols. We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant. We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law, and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal, in the same way as we should consider incitement to murder, or to kidnapping, or to the revival of the slave trade, as criminal."

The coexist fundamental that we all live by looks like this when it is translated into islam.

Several ulema believe deceit is integral to the waging of war: Ibn al-'Arabi declares that "in the Hadith [sayings and actions of Muhammad], practicing deceit in war is well demonstrated. Indeed, its need is more stressed than the need for courage." Ibn al-Munir (d. 1333) writes, "War is deceit, i.e., the most complete and perfect war waged by a holy warrior is a war of deception, not confrontation, due to the latter's inherent danger, and the fact that one can attain victory through treachery without harm [to oneself]." And Ibn Hajar (d. 1448) counsels Muslims "to take great caution in war, while [publicly] lamenting and mourning in order to dupe the infidels."[14]

A long read but a worthwhile insight into Taqiyya, the islamic rules of war.

Honest accounting demands that we condemn all religions that engage in such heinous crimes, especially any religion that teaches that only those of their religion are human and that the rest of us should be killed and/or enslaved.

Not my work, but my sentiments exactly.

"We live, of course, in a country that long ago made ILLEGAL the right to carry a handgun for self-defense and that even before the handgun ban enacted in Britain in 1996. And that ban extended even to serving servicemen and servicewomen in mainland Great Britain.

The reports are that it took the police TWENTY MINUTES before an armed response unit arrived. That, in fact, these two young men WAITED for the arrival of that armed unit and then, with their cleaver and knives rushed the unit at which point they were then both shot.

Do you really think that in the USA in "right to carry" states that this would have had his outcome?

It's quite possible armed American citizens would have themselves shot the two attackers long before they were able to deal mortal blows to the soldier. They had knocked him down first by driving a motor vehicle onto the pavement.

We live, in Britain, in a country where we are like sheep.

Expecting the shepherd to protect us from the wolf and yet never daring to ask if it is not WE OURSELVES who should be allowed the means to protect ourselves...instead of waiting for the police to arrive.

In 1920 and in 1948 we gave up, as a nation, the right to carry firearms for self-defense. A right enshrined in the Bill of Rights of 1688.

For in 1920 and in 1948 a "contract" being implied that instead the police would now protect us so we no longer needed that right. Yet as all too often shown the police can now no longer honour that contract. And so we reap the harvest.

Maybe in a past time more steadfast politicians would have then demanded that if the police could no longer honour that contract that the general public be then allowed to take back the right they had given up the right to take personal responsibility for protecting themselves. The right to have arms for their defense as allowed by law.

But today?

We reap the crop that those before us allowed to be sown."

Please learn form our mistakes.

In the interest of honest accounting it might be apropriate to name the other "religions" that engage in such henious crimes and teaches that non believers are less than human and should be killed or enslaved. For all my study I can find non that behave, believe, encourage and demand this from thier followers.

Yeah, I'm coming up short on the diversity of demonic savagery that encourages beheadings, enslavement of the women and children of your conquered enemies, and a long-term goal of dominating the world in a fashion that has zero tolerance for other faiths.

That is exactly right from the research that ive done, the Koran preaches this. Islamaic cultures still stone women to death whos only crime was they were raped or marry outside their religion. There is active enslvement in Islamic countries. They kill us because we are Athiest, Christians, Hindu's. I dont find any other Religions that do this either.

Yes, the Catholic church has much blood on its hands…but I think that is mostly available in history books

Why is it every time a specific threat is being discussed, this shadowy group that can't be mentioned comes up? This is not the work of any other major religion. It is the demonic work of deranged souls who have been indoctrinated by the teachings of a violent low-life who couldn't hack it in the real world after his uncle passed away, so in his 40's, he started a new religious sect, which grew to enslave millions around the planet, who spread that cancer in a manner as we see before our eyes in the slaying of this British soldier.

+1…but you forgot to mention he was also a pedophile (one of his many wives was only 9 years old)

Nice try. There is no shortage of sinful Catholics. Catholicism does not exhort genocide. Catholicism does not teach that non-Catholics are not human.

You did not qualify for the Bonus Round. Next contestant. :-)

You weren't talking about the Catholic church?…the Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, etc…interesting.

ETA: What about Rwanda?...http://www.newsfromafrica.org/articles/art_10231.html

Quote:Church authorities contributed to the spread of racist theories mainly
through the schools and seminaries over which they exercised control. The elite who ruled the country after independence trained in these schools. According to Church historian Paul Rutayisire, the stereotypes used by the Hutu-dominated Rwandan government to dehumanise Tutsis, were also spread by some influential clergymen, bishops and priests, before and after the genocide. The Catholic Church and colonial powers orked together in organizing racist political groups like the Party for the Emancipation of the Hutu (Parmehutu).

Any exceptional-ism beliefs " which are religions" can find horrific acts in past history or doctrines. Christianity and Jew deism are not guilt free. My own German ancestors beheaded more people in WW2 than what occurred during the French revolution. Any doctrine that has a belief in exceptional-ism is evil. Our nation was not founded on diversity, but in our unity in the belief of our freedoms and constitution. We may come from different back grounds and cultures but the unity in freedom, equal justice and our constitution is what makes true justice become reality. Any religion or belief system that enforces exceptional-ism goes against what this nation was founded on and should be exposed for what it is ....Evil. That said Christianity does not endorse exceptional-ism from what I have studied even though many have tried to make that the case. Jew deism and Islam does in the context of their writing's. Please do not construed this as me being anti anything for I am not. But I have read passages in the old testament that has exceptional- ism written all over it. I am not a scholar of religions so if I am wrong please correct me.
