Side charging 6.5 Upper

Any One have any experience with side charging uppers on 6.5 grendel?

I have a mega side charging upper with a Young Mfg side charging bolt carrier and love it!

I have a LAR Grizzly side charger on my grendel. Love it, Its a right hand, but I wish I had went with a left hand to keep my right hand on the pistol grip while charging. But all and all it works great.

+1 on the LAR OPS-4, but I don't mind the right hand charger. I might get the ambi version for my next build.

Quality Arms in Idaho have billet 7075 side chargers available in ambi charge right eject, ambi charge ambi eject and left charge left eject with hard nickel bolts and carriers.

I have just ordered a QA Grendel, side charging gun. Supposed to get it in 3 weeks. Way excited. Ill post pictures of it once I get it on the gun

Ok, I have my new gun!!!! here are some quick pictures I took of the Rifle. I was planning on shooting this weekend, but the weather sucked and so I will be shooting this week. Anyway, here it is for your enjoyment and this week, i'll have some target photos!!

I like the lar grizzley ops4 right hand because it deletes the rear charging rod and does not vent gas in you face which is realy handy if your running a can

I'm building a Grendel upper and I'm going to pretty much duplicate what I did on my .223 upper shown here. Just ordered another OPS-4 receiver. The rifle pictured shoots in the 4's all day, my best group being .260". [ATTACH=CONFIG]3307[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]3308[/ATTACH]

Took this off face book, Midwest gen 2, Black Hole 18 inch barrel, hard nickel bolt and carrier tuned nickel trigger. Right or left charge right eject
