Here is what I am thinking for my Varmint/Target build project:
Alexander Arms bolt
22" Krieger cut rifled heavy contour barrel
JP adjustable Gas Block (.936" bore)
LAR OPS-4 side charger receiver
White Oak Armament Varmint hand guard and barrel nut
Comments? Suggestions?
Sounds awesome. Hope you are ready to hurry up and wait for parts!
Is the White Oak hand guard free floating? If not I would suggest a free floating hand guard, especially for varmint/target build. Other than that you're looking good. Have fun with your build and you'll need to be patient. Keep us posted on your progress.

It is free floating. It also has a barrel nut does not have to aligned with the gas tube. You have to make your own barrel nut wrench but I have already done that for my .223 build.

UPDATE!
I received my Krieger barrel today which is almost three months early. I could not wait to get a look at it with my Hawkeye Bore Scope. It did not disappoint. A beautiful piece of work. I am ready to rock if I can ever get my receiver. Trying to be patient!
I went a similar route:
AA bolt (still waiting)
Krieger 28" heavy 1:9 barrel
DPMS LoPro Match upper
JP extra long tube handguard
JP adjustable gas block
Thinking about having JP thread and install a muzzle brake on it....but no decision yet.

Not sure what lower Receiver you are looking for but Rainer has Seeking SP223 without logs available and a few others. Stonefire Arms has a few Mega Arms available. Just need the jack$$

As I stated in Post #1, I'm waiting for an OPS-04 that I have on order. It's the same upper I have on my .223. Wait times are bleak, to say the least.

Consider having a 2" longer gas system installed as well. I have a 28" with Rifle length gas and have issues when I push the loads to maximize velocity.

Looks like a fine build. I have an OPS-04 upper too and not completely sold on it. I even matched it up with a LAR lower and the fit seems to be too lose for my liking.......wish the specs were alittle tighter I guess.
