MAGPUL might leave Colorado if ban is passed

To be honest, for the viability of the Nation, I would like to see manufacturers be able to stay where they are without being molested by the enemy from within.

I don't disagree, but that isn't our reality right now. I'd like to see businesses leave all these anti-2A states...

One thing to remember about the Blue counties on the Montana map is that the bluest ones are Reservations and a lot of the Native Americans, mostly on the reservations, have thrown there lot in with the current administration and are big on the take from those who work to give to those who won't. The ones I know that don't believe in money for nothing left the reservations a long time ago and don't usually go back. The light blue counties are the major population centers with the troublesome Californians mostly in the far west of the state. I know several people who moved here from California to escape the place and are good people. We also have two of the top enginerring schools in the country. Utah and Idaho would be good also. My .02 cents worth.

Missoula is full of Leftist communist. The MSPA and the members of The Big sky Practical Shooting Association with Gary Marbut and friends, keep the regressive's in headache medicine. Kalispell has many gun manufacturers and is very friendly to the second amendment and business's . When Missoula lost one of it's major mills and older people were actually committing suicide over their lost jobs, the Missoula city counsel decided to create a right of letting male trans sexuals to use girl,s bathrooms instead of solving the problem of the loss of high paying job's. There is a sickness in this country that is growing like cancer and I hope all businesses stand together for all of our constitutional rights and hurt the regressives where it hurts the most, the pocket book. If more businesses stood their ground like Barret, Olympic, BCM, Larue, and Magpul we will do just that. Now is the time not later.

Texas still hasn't signed FFA as well, and there are a lot of statist centers of power in the high population density areas, where elitists brainwash college students like anywhere else now, sadly.

A FFA has been filed but all attention is on the budget right now. The polls I've seen indicate if the bill makes it to the floor it will pass.

I live near the brainwashing capitol of the south. Austin/ Travis county had always been a liberal mecca but it's bordered by some of the most conservative counties in the state. My biggest concern is the growing population on the border.

I knew Missoula was bad, but not that bad! Living in the middle of the state were we don't have the scenic mountain valley realestate that is so in demand insulates us from a lot of that. I have only been to Hamilton one time which is enough for me. I honestly felt like I was no longer in Montana. I agree with the comment about the growing sickness in this country. I worry about the future for my daughter.

Missoula is the worst spot in Montana. My son lives in Miles city and loves the people. The university of Mt. brings in a lot of regresives and out of stater's which is changing the demographics. Most of Montana is filled with good people but keep an eye on Missoula if you want to see change for the worst. We have a strong bunch of freedom loving people near Missoula but we are out numbered and the weirdo's are growing every year.

God Bless Texas but I'd vote for Wyoming.
See the corporate benefits here: http://wyomingcompany.com/
It's only 83 miles from Erie, Co to Cheyenne, Wy, you could commute most days.
It hasn't been Californicated like Colorado.

YMMV, Will

I keep telling the wife that if Texas falls, we need to head to WY

It looks like CTD is trying to redeem itself.

Regardless of how you feel about the organization there is some interesting info about Magpul, LaRue and Olympic Arms at this site.

Texas will cease being conservative in a few decades, especially if the border isn't closed. I live in Williamson County, so I understand conservative, I just hope it can stay that way.

CTD might be trying but they still have PMAGS listed for $99.00 on there site. It might be their right to price their merchandise as they see fit but I still think they are trying to take unfair advantage of people.

I have even heard this nonsense on Glenn Beck's show. Any jack leg representative can introduce anything they want. So a couple of representative from KC/STL introduce a bill, whoopty doo. Speaker Tim Jones isn't going to let these things see the light of day and they'll never even be voted on. The Missouri state house and senate are very conservative so I have no worries. Magpul in Missouri sounds pretty good to me as well!

What is this notion of “unfair advantage” all about? Sounds like a concept straight from the communist manifesto.

Look it is called capitalism. That is how businesses that employ people and turn a profit without relying on fed hand outs make money. If I had a stash of Pmags and could sell them for $99, I wouldn’t think twice. The market dictates the price. Nobody is forcing you to buy a $99 Pmag.

Don’t get me wrong if my neighbor needs mags I will split my ammo and mags in second, if the day ever comes. That is why most of have extras I believe.

Personally, I will never buy from CTD again because they are spineless wimps that caved to the left wing politics, as if they had something to apologize for.

Ok enough of the soap box, back to the original topic. I just get frustrated how people have been blinded and confused of the true economic freedom that this country was blessed with.

I assume you are talking about Mexican immigration? Hispanics are, by nature, very conservative. They vote, however, with the party that seems to be least restrictive on movement across the border. The Republicans have screwed this issue up so badly that the Liberals have been able to paint them as the party that doesn't want the Mexicans here. In truth, small business owners, farmers, and even large business owners want and need that population. A huge percentage of our farm output is dependent upon it. Most Americans no longer want to actually do work for a living. We want to be part of the service industry and sit on our rears. We don't want to work the fields, or do labor type jobs.

Guess what, you can't pick greens for lettuce with a machine, its got to be done by hand, and no gringos want to do it! My son worked this past summer for his in laws in Southern California on a fresh greens farm. He was the ONLY gringo. The rest of the workers were all first generation Mexicans who, he says, were mostly high school graduates who came to work and send money so more family members could come work. They worked long hours in HOT conditions at minimum wage. Find a gringo willing to do that!

Cherry harvest in Washington State used to be a family harvest. Everyone would help out. Now you can't even get the gringos to drive the tractors that pull the loaded boxes, much less actually pick the fruit!

If the Republicans figured out this one issue, they could have the Hispanic vote in an instant.

Its simple, provide a way for guest workers to earn their citizenship. Work here for 7 consecutive years, or 8 out of 10, pay your taxes appropriately and have no criminal convictions, and you can become a citizen when you renounce you Mexican citizenship. OR, spend four years in the military and have no criminal convictions and you can become a citizen.

Any felony or gross misdemeanor conviction before citizenship automatically gets you double time, deported after you serve your time, permanently.

Anyone caught and convicted trafficking drugs while not being a citizen gets an automatic doubling of the prescribed prison sentence, THEN gets deported.

Thats a start.

Freedom means people can buy and sell at any price they want without any price fixing Let the market forces sort it out. Personally, I won't be purchasing any magazines for $100.

Agreed! However, until we stop the arterial bleeding that is our border we have got to stop worrying about putting a band aid on the scraped elbow that is the immigrants already here.

You're exactly right our economy needs their labor, but we have to close the border. The open border is directly contributing to a drug war in mexico where thousands have been SLAUGHTERED, not to mention the national security threat it presents. I'm honestly astounded we haven't been hit with a dirty bomb to date.

Once the borders closed I'm all for putting it all on the table for an open and honest debate on immigration reform, but not until then.

Securing our border is important. That is a festering disaster.

BUT it has little to do with illegal immigrants in society, once they have arrived. MOST illegal immigrants have nothing to do with the drug trade or terrorism, they are simply people who want a better life. Had I been born in Mexico, I would do ANYTHING it took to get to the US and find work.

They are by nature a conservative group that the Republicans (hereafter referred to as the Stupid Party) has done everything they can to drive into the arms of the democrats. Hispanics are natural conservatives, and yet the conservative arm of our political system has simply pushed them towards the party that has NO real similar beliefs by not espousing a determined plan for immigration.

Its a huge failure by the Stupid Party!

Yeah they promised to secure the border last time this came to a head, what they seem to want is them here voting and us either gone or learning to speak Spanish

I couldn't agree more! I fully support Rick Perry in the primaries when he talked about how he offered illegal immigrants in-state tuition, unlike the majority of republicans. I'd much rather have the illegal immigrants here become productive citizens of this country and not need to result to illegal activities to make a decent living.

However, if we offer anybody who can get across our border, an easy path to citizenship we'll see a flood of illegal immigrants across the border.

Once we close the border and have the ability to prevent that from happening, I'll fully support offering a REASONABLE path to citizenship to the ones already here.

All that being said the Republican Party has to reach out to Hispanics. I think you start by offering a solution to the violence in Mexico affecting their family, that's still there.

I believe you do that by stopping the flow of drugs into this country, from Mexico. The law of unintended consequences will bare its ugly face here, with the violence getting worse for a period of time. This I believe will be due to the drug cartels losing the majority of their income and struggling to maintain power. I'd support military support here, as long as we lead the operation on our terms.
