Anyone following this story? Sounds like big news. I didn't read this whole "manifesto" yet, but I can't help but find the reference to assault weapons bans as being a bit fishy.

I heard on the news that the police that are on his "hit list" are being guarded and have their "own guns at the ready in their homes".

When I had an incident a few years back (guy on drugs crawling in through my kitchen window). The only thing that made him stop is when I dropped the bolt on my Benelli. It took the cops over 30 minutes to get there at around 9:30 am (mid morning) (I live near a major city about 4 minutes from the sheriff's department) and when then finally did come there were 10 cars. I find it really hard to believe that all 10 cars arrived at the same time. They probably did not want to be the only cop there when guns were involved. I was able to hold the guy until they came and arrested him but if I did not have a gun at the ready who knows what would have happened. It is a good thing that the SOB did not try that a few hours earlier when it was dark or the moment he cleared the kitchen sink I would have given him a lobotomy with #4 lead shot.

Dorner's truck is found burning up in the mountains, manhunt localizes on that area, suppressed weapons supposedly found burnt in vehicle.

The manifesto starts off reasonably logical & then gets crazier as it goes on. This guy is going to prove to be a real life Rambo, or as close as we have ever witnessed in the US. It will be interesting to see if he makes good on his threats to kill the dirty cops. It's obvious to me that there is some serious blood letting that needs done in the LAPD. I have not noticed this much in the mainstream media. Perhaps they don't want to talk about it because its such an unacceptable level of crazy.
