The Chinese, being adept students of Sun Tzu, know that the most successful military campaign is the one never fought, where your enemy has spent his capacity to do battle, is demoralized...broken. One of the best ways to accomplish this is to use your enemy's own resources against him, by tying him up with surrogates who have been financed by your enemy, rather than yourself. (Al Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood...)
For example:
China eyeing rich pickings, taking winning role in afghanistan after nato
"Eyeing Afghanistan's estimated $1 trillion worth of unexploited minerals, Chinese companies have acquired rights to extract vast quantities of copper and coal and snapped up the first oil exploration concessions granted to foreigners in decades. China is also eyeing extensive deposits of lithium, uses of which range from batteries to nuclear components"
Obama is a puppet, a whore, an empty amoral shell with an inflated ego, a plug-and-play teleprompter accessory. If he was a man of talent and accomplishments, we would have known of him as he rose. His history would not need to be concealed and re-invented. His "money people" handlers know how to manipulate his narcissistic personality. Let him play the best of golf courses while his supposed claim to heterosexuality goes shopping.
I have a theory about the banksters' support of him. Besides being a willing accomplice in their serial looting, I think he is their "insider" race joke ( http://tinyurl.com/yew88mb). He will be their patsy when they "pull" the economy the same way they "pulled" Building 7. "Oh, look, somebody else did it." Time will tell if I am right.

FWIW, I think we have enough troubles as it is without going out on limbs to dream up extra stuff to be paranoid about. Kind of like 9/11 and the Conspiracy crap. I was deployed there, and having stood in the ash and sand pit while it was still smoldering (breathing "Soylent Breeze"), it was no inside bull crap. No controlled demo BS either. It was a damn sorry mess, and those people deserve better than to have crap made up about them.
ETA: I guess I'm kind of Schizophrenic about this conspiracy stuff.LOL Sometimes I get pissed off, and other times I scratch my head and wonder. It depends on what mood I'm in that day.
I believe there are tons of opportuntistic parasites (Lord knows I see tons of them every dang day!), but I usually fall short on highly developed, multigenerational, international cabals bent on world domination. Heck, dunno. The Jeckyl Island stuff does ring some alarm bells to me though. I need to read that book I guess.

Subsequent footage shows full auto muzzle flashes directed at those fleeing their burning home.
Any doubts about what THEY will do to you? Waco: A New Revelation and Waco: The Rules of Engagement will set you straight.
If you want the short version, cut directly to the raw FLIR footage. No wonder they kept the FLIR footage from the Congressional whitewash.... er, um ... hearing.
Too, no matter what the official conspiracy theory, they always dispose of the key evidence as quickly as possible.

Not sure if you have heard but the military as a whole is about to go through another reduction in force. If Obama so wanted them to oppress the people, how come they are about to be cut by 30 plus percent?

Gene: He'll likely just say something like "the 30% cut is to get rid of the loyal troops and thus facilitate their being replaced by those loyal to Barry". It doesn't really matter what we say. When someone spirals too far down the conspiracy rabbit hole they find sinister excuses for everything.

OK, thanks guys! Now I understand again!
Billions of Pounds/Dollars/Marks/Rubles/Francs/Shekels are spent every year because there are no conspiracies.
MI5/CIA/Bundesnachrichtendienst/FSB/Sûreté/Mossad exist because they have nothing to do.
Whistleblowers are prosecuted, disappeared, or die at remarkable rates because there are no secrets.
Armies, revolutionaries, and business machers publish their plans in advance because they plan nothing in secret and have nothing to hide.
Peer-reviewed scientific journals discuss the cost-benefit ratio of geoengineering because there are no chemtrails.
When confronted with epidemics a majority of doctors and nurses avoid vaccines because vaccines are safe and effective.
Semites with boxknives defeated the entireand completely non-secretsecurity apparatus of the most powerful nation in the world. Israeli moving company employees and art students were not high-fiving and laughing as they videotaped the non-demolition of the WTC.
Iraq had WMDs, Syria has WMDs, and Iran is building WMDs. Israel does not have even one WMD.
Raining white phosphorus indiscriminately on women and infants in Gaza is good because they are terrorists. White phosphorus is not a chemical weapon.
Oswald was a lone gunman.
The helicopter FLIR video released by the FBI was doctored to make the FBI look good at Waco.
Clinton did not have sex with that woman.
Phew! Thanks for the reminder. For a minute I thought all those officially sanctioned government conspiracy theories were fairy tales for kindergarteners. I had better reconnect my television so I dont have a relapse into critical thinking.
It all depends on what your definition of "Is" is.
I dont trust our Govt period and nobody here should either. I do however want to believe in our Military and Law Enforcement yet its hard for sure.
The point of the thread is that serious questions have been raised about the selection and retention process for US military officers under Comrade Hussein's regime, with the claim that the criteria is based on whether or not officers will give the order to shoot US civilians.
What I'm suggesting is that if such a plan exists, it serves the interests of a rising foreign power, not the US. If you really want to start a discussion about 9/11, you should consider the role it played in tying up US military resources away from our traditional regional postures in Europe and the Pacific Rim, while attempting to form a wedge between the US and the Saudi's. The surrogate named Usama Bin Laden, along with Al-Zawahiri and pals, were centered out of Pakistan, which is where Ramzi Yousef (the original World Trade Center bomber in 1993) was eventually arrested.
Pakistan is a major recipient of Chinese military technology, to include nuclear weapons. When China calls, they jump. A good example of that is when China provided said nukes, they demanded the turnover of US F-16's to China so they could reverse-engineer them, which they did, combined with the technology Comrade Clinton and the Israeli's sold them in the 1990's. Remember that China funded Clinton's campaigns illegally, through various loosely-concealed fronts.
If you base your opinions of 9/11 on the self-admitted marijuana fund-raising project two dope-heads embarked upon, called "Loose Change", you will be led astray from the real backdrop of the events. Consider the effects a foreign power has in sewing seeds of discontent with such an event, not only between traditional allies, but between your enemy and his corrupted national leadership, and how that plays into your end-game for civil unrest in his country, again...without ever meeting him on the battlefield. Why did Al-Zawahiri and Bin Laden choose so many Saudi citizens for the operation?
The goal was to imply the Saudi government in the attack, which would harm US-Saudi relations. The Saudi intelligence services discovered that Mohamed Atta received $100,000 via wire transfer by direction from the head of Pakistani's ISI, general Mahmoud Ahmed.
It takes about 5 years of intense study to even begin to understand the geopolitical landscape prior to 9/11, and the plausible actors in that event. Watching a few youtube videos on it won't cut the mustard, and every such production must be seen through a more advanced filter based on a vast understanding of geopolitics, with particular emphasis on Pakistan and the laundry list of state-sponsored terrorist organizations that call Pakistan their home. You could spend a lifetime studying them alone.
Back to the discussion: It makes you wonder again, why Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981, who he associated with, and what the nature of his travel there was, aside from the claimed hunting trip. His mother was a frequent visitor to Pakistan, and she had some knowledge of the Urdu language. When you consider her work for USAID and the Ford Foundation, you can guess her profession quite quickly if you're knowledgeable about such things.
After the Indonesian, Indian, and Pakistani trip in the summer of 1981, he returned to the US and was somehow accepted into Columbia University. After Columbia, he gained employment with Business Information Corporation, an economic intelligence-gathering front for a certain 3-letter agency based out of Northern Virginia. He mentions this company, but not by-name, in Dreams From My Father. His mother later revealed the name of the company during an interview.
But again, for any of this information to make sense, you need to have an exceptional understanding of geography, history as taught to businessmen/bankers/career intelligence professionals across the world, and an understanding of the various proxy actors for major global powers. A public school education, topped with a 4 or 6-year college degree outside of history and economics, and a diet of youtube videos won't adequately prepare the student of current events for the feast of information needed to be digested, especially if the majority of your professors are Marxists.

We know there isn't such a site, the original post was a question, based upon a report from someone with a fairly good reputation as a straight shooter.
We also know that the top of the military is seeing faster changes than is typical, and that at least one of those retiring has been willing to toss his commitment to the defense of the Constitution out the window once he walked out the door.
It's all hearsay, and was raised more as a theoretical "what if" than as a "this is happening, what do we do about it" situation.
Unfortunately, with our 2nd Amendment rights under attack, a lot of us are starting to see "boogy men" in the dark corners, (I'll have to admit, I'm not much of a conspiracy believer, but some of this crap is weird!)

bwaites when you look at all that's happening as individual entities, at best it's a little weird. If you start to explore the individual entities it all feels like conspiracy theory nonsense where you're just over thinking the situation.
Once you take a step back and look at it all as a big picture, even if you only go back so far as Fast and Furious, it all only points in one direction no matter how hard you try to make sense of it.
I have, I've tried to find some other, any other explanation, I more than anybody don't want my beloved nation to be this bad off, but no matter how I analyze it I come back to the same conclusion.

LR1955 - as stated before, currently in the ROTC world...so I think I can answer this, but probably not to anyone’s satisfaction as there are a lot of variables and service specific screenings. As far as what are the criteria as means of selecting officers, each service is slightly different. What they have in common (and there are exceptions to this when you talk LDO programs), is 1) US citizen 2) Min of a BA/BS degree from an accredited university 3) Able to receive/pass background check for a SECRET Clearance, 4) Pass physical requirements for branch of service, and finally 5) Display desire to serve in the US armed forces. Meet the above criteria as well as screening via ROTC, Service Acadamy or OCS - you get your gold bars. It is by no means a perfect system, but we get some pretty awesome young men and women who want to serve.
DOD places numbers caps on each service for accessions each year, and I can tell you based on economy, force reductions, and other crap that I don’t understand, there are more that want in than there are spaces - and more that want to stay in than there is room for.
As far as retention, the standing joke use to be the three 'M's to military success - Marathons, Muscles or Medals. In all seriousness, as far as I can tell, to reach the G.O. levels (and I ain’t even close, so this is purely based on my observations/opinions) it is part luck, part proficiency, and part who you know.
Hope this helps a little.

I bet you can go back 1 to 2 years back and the Conspiracy theories will be null, N,A. I joined this site to learn about the best deer rifle ive ever owned, no Conspiracies. There wasnt even the 2A area until a few months back. So yes im concerned about whats going on, i'll go past weird and just say it for what it looks like to me. Hope and change is looking more like a coup every day. I said it last week "I hope yall give me crap next year about how paranoid I was in 13." I really do.
LRRPF52, I am certain that you are a thoughtful and well-read man.
Can we agree on three flaws in some analyses offered here?
(1) Immersing oneself in the history and geopolitics vetted by the perpetrators affords no monopoly on insight or reality, only a facile and better rehearsed "party line" than those of us who arehow did the poster put it?fat ignoramuses.
(2) To insist there is no political litmus test for general officers to accede to the agenda of command and control is to deny all of recorded history. It is actually remarkable that we file it under "news" when it is actually axiomatic.
(3) Discounting/ignoring the damage already inflicted by the bankster/warmonger tribe, while mostly finger-pointing at the Chinese and Islamic tribes, will generate a distorted picture that barely approximates reality, enables the enemy already in our midst, and so precludes effective defense.
Agree?
