I'm with you but I refuse to use that site...guess it's just the tin-foil hat side of me.

I think there will be more calls for term limits now and I really hope the people can force this to happen. Gonna be an uphill battle to have these guys vote themselves out of a job though.

This issue will have to be pushed by the states. An amendment to the constitution will have to be drafted by a state and get enough states signing up to it to force it onto washington.

I think the entire Nation's Capitol is obsolete. It only makes it convenient for foreign and corporate lobbyists to co-locate, polluting the historical area with their filth while co-opting National government. Congress should meet rarely like back in the founding days of our Nation. They should consider rotating the meeting location to State Capitol buildings around the country, and have regional sessions where States cooperate on regional interests.

Examples would include border control, fishing in the Eastern Seaboard, energy issues in the Pacific Northwest, etc. What is someone in Maine going to have to offer to someone in CA about energy, trade, or any other policy? What say should Oregon have in telling Florida how to deal with tornado or flood preparation?

The collective decisions of Congress have been way too focused on domestic issues, when they need to shut up and keep to matters outside the borders. That said, the Western States on the Mexican border should be able to determine a regional-specific policy, coordinating State Guards and militias to secure the border.

D.C. should be a place of historical significance only, not a central ruling mecca for statists and domestic enemies in bed with foreign enemies, which is what we have now.
