Im glad to see a black man stand up for the 2nd ammendment, no im not so naive to think that there arent any blacks with guns I know there are but truthfully this is the first one ive seen. The question is a back-hand attack on our 2nd Amendment rights -- and, I would add, responsibilities.

I have seen the question asked about a lot of weapons -- from small arms to the the largest nuclear weapons, aircraft, and ships to include the folks that staff them.

The answer in the defense context is truly that you don't need them until you NEED them. If an individual or a country doesn't keep them on hand, they soon find that the oversight is costly. In between times of NEED, however, keeping them around can be a bit burdensome when a minority of loudmouths are chanting you don't need them, so get rid of them!

They are not interested in your rights, your safety, or your security.

I would like to say what the libtard politicians don't understand, but I'm afraid they understand all to well that with the 2nd we don't have the need, without it we WILL have the need for "weapons of war" to defend ourselves against tyrants. The 2nd Amendment prevents that need as our Nuclear Weapons stockpile has acted as the greatest deterrent to Nuclear War. Without either our enemies will have not a fear of the repercussions of attacking us.

When a liberal questions how I can find a right, as an individual, in the Second Amendment to own an assault rifle, I ask how he can find a right to abortion-on-demand in the Fourth Amendment.

I don't want people who support the "right" to slice up and suck fully-formed infants from the safety of the womb with a razor-tipped vacuum (of course, after the brains are sucked out, one crushes the skull like an egg to extract it) acting like they have the moral high ground when it comes to owning firearms.

Many arguments fall into one of those categories and most of the people that speak the loudest don't listen to logic or even want to entertain other poits of view that being said I do occasionally enjoy calmly sending people over the deep end that are heart set on pushing issues down your throat the fact that you don't get upset aggravates them more

I need an AR for the same reason a LEO needs an AR, multiple 30 rd clips, a semi-auto pistol with several hi-cap mags, a police car, radio communication, and back up on the way when I call him to tell him there are bad guys outside my house trying to break in. Except he's going to be 10-30 minutes away if/when I get a chance to call him.
