I voted Flash Hider since I have a Phantom on my 16". I have a bull barrel SS 20" with plain Target crown but have no trouble with or without a muzzle device. I can't have an evil suppressor where I live.

My 16" Shaw has a Smith Vortex, and my 24" Satern has a target crown. Guess I'll vote twice - just like in the election.

My 16" Spikes 556 has a YHM suppressor ready flash hider, for when I get enough extra money to get one.

A supressor for me but that is very common here in NZ. Cheap and available over the counter or online.

NOVESKE KX3 on my 20" barrel, used mostly for long distance targets. The Flash Hider doesn't suppress the noise (very loud) but it's good at hiding the flash except from someone looking at me down range.

I believe it was designed for short barreled AR-15 & 10's to lessen the flash so close to the face. One drawback, you need to remove the inner cone from the outer device for each cleaning. The cone easily unscrews.
