On a side note, I listed my Grendel on a local classified website and was told I am asking way too much. Honestly I thought I was giving them a deal!

just figure up what you have in it and go from there. I wouldnt take anything less than 90 percent of value

Your probably better off parting it out as new components rather than trying to sell it as a whole and also it's worth what the components are worth and actually probably less assembled as it doesn't have a top name attached to the build I would tear it down and list the parts on gun broker and you should be able to get most of retail for them especially in this market
Definitely sell the ammo seperately. For whatever reason most people think that ammo ads zero value to a gun sale. Why. I do not know. After that I might consider selling the upper, lower and stock seperately as well. People are buying lowers like snow cones in hell, but a lower with a $200+ trigger & $200+ stock most likely will not bring in what it is really worth.

I agree with this. The upper, ammo, and all lower parts can easily be shipped anywhere but the lower reciever will need to be local or sent through an FFL. Plus, there's a better chance of getting buyers for things a couple hundred bucks at a time rather than a couple grand to 1 person.

Sorry you have to sell things for money but I know exactly the position your in. That being said I have learned that things I have sold only help me temporarily and next month I'm in the same boat again anyway, try to pretend you have nothing to sell and hopefully something will workout for you. that is a quality rifle right there. If you do decide to sell the upper separately from the lower make sure to let us know. I would not hesitate for a second to make an offer on that upper.

Long story short: I dont have to sell my Grendel (YAY!) However, I know a lot of guys want to buy one before the crap hits the fan:
If anyone is interested in buying the COMPLETE rifle only with reloading supplies and magazines, I will sell it for $4000. Also, I have a Vortex Razor HD brand new in the box that I will add to complete the package for $6000.
The rifle is still brand new and unfired
