Hello everybody, glad to finally be here and learn more about the 6.5 Grendel. I have made the decision on the 6.5 after looking at many different cartridges. The 6.5 Grendel just makes the most sense in many ways. I now need to learn where the best place to build an AR upper is. Wish me luck !

Welcome. Great country out where you live...simply beautiful in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Look in the Custom Builds and other threads. There are a lot of good ideas and great tips on how to save cash while getting high quality parts. What do you plan on doing with your Grendel when it's finished? Hunting? Competition? Maybe just accuracy shooting from the bench? Let us know and there are plenty of folks that will steer you right here.
