Any current rifle company making a 6.5 Grendel bolt?

I have read where a bolt rifle can be converted to the Grendel. I am surprised with
the SAAMI recognition that no one like Remington, etc is making them.
This would make a great rifle for a youngster or for me.....

I dont think its been SAAMI accepted long enough. Im guessing if any company is coming out with anything, itll be around the shot show

I think the CZ custom shop will build a Grendel on their 527 action if you prefer not to convert an existing one in 7.62x39. Can't remember the details, but seems like price was in the neighborhood of $1500.

The best current option is start with a rifle chambered in 7.62x39 as it has the same case head diameter as the Grendel. If someone does come along and markets a Grendel bolt it will be nothing more than a relabeled 7.62 bolt.

Yep CZ and also Savage have the correct bolt/bolthead. Both come chambered in 7.62x39 but can be re-barreled to Grendel with the Savage being user friendly with prefit barrels that you can install yourself. CZ also has prefits made for it but no experience as to the user friendly barrel swap part.

Welcome. For a Remmy, you'll have to start with a .223 bolt and have it opened up I think. Get a barrel blank and have a smith ream it with a Grendel or custom reamer head-spaced to your bolt.

Remington makes a 6PPC bolt, I think. If not, there are plenty of places to buy them in the aftermarket.
