Coyote down, First blood for my Grendel

Took this coyote at 100 yards with a factory hornady 123gr amax, it left a 1.5 inch exit hole. This flabbergasted me since I am am used to the carnage left from my .308. I am so so pleased with the outcome. Very fur friendly so far.[ATTACH=CONFIG]2539[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]2540[/ATTACH]

Actually I'm in Alaska, thought you might be with the snow but I guess you guys did get dumped on down there.

Ha ha, Yeah it had snowed the day before. That snow was gone the next day though but now its back and Im ready to go looking for some more yotes. I love hunting them with a fresh layer of snow.

Its the Vortex PST 4-16 x50 with 30mm tube. Its in First Focal Plane with side parallax adjustment and illuminated reticle

Really, ha ha ... you have good taste. It was actually built by a newer company that has started up here in idaho. It is quality arms out of Rigby Idaho, Jim Barron is the name of the owner. Really nice guy and really nice stuff, at least as far as I can tell.
