Who makes that handguard??
Nice. Waiting for a barrel seems to be a common problem. Hopefully that will be resolved.
The handguard is a newer product that i believe was released from a shot show in late 2010 or early 2011. Its the Samson Manufacturing Evolution rail or Evo rail. This particular model is 15inches in length. I wanted one that would cover the low profile gas block and to cut down on having so much of the barrel exposed. I have a harris bipod to go on it but im not going to put it on until the barrel comes in. The handguard is just barely tightened down so i could just take some pictures of it. However that handguard was designed to fit a mil spec receiver. It has two anti rotational notches at the top of the handguard where it meets the receiver. If your going to use it on a beefier designed upper receiver like the side charger you will have to file just on the bottom side of the notches to get them to work on your receiver. Took me maybe 15 to 20 minutes and a little love while watching some tv, and voila! Its just waiting for barrel bolt scope mount and scope, but picking a scope that you dont get to look through and may not even like is hard!
i saw that barrel, but my barrel is .936 at the gas block and im having it fluted throughout.

. Waiting on 24 inches of wholesome Satern barrel goodness. The other black one is my ar-15, and the black and tan gun is my sons M&P 22. The handgun is a Springfield Armory ported .45. Bring on the Zombies
