AA 20" Grendel GDMR question

First post here.... Trying to find some quality first hand info on AA's dmr rifle. For you guys that have experience with one: how accurate are they? Are they worth the $$$ ($3500-$4000)?..... Likes and dislikes??? Thanks!

I've had two GDMR's, they both have shot .25MOA groups.

I also have a 28" GSR, which also shoots .25MOA groups. Mine have been set up slightly differently than the current GDMR, but with essentially the same guts, minus the monolithic upper.

In my mind, yes, they are worth the money!

When did they switch to the monolithic upper?

Mohawk: It showed up that way first in their 2010 catalog.

We will be running a bit slower on the GDMR rifles as Mega no longer builds the monolithic receivers. We are working with them to perfect another product and are viewing this not as a problem but as an opportunity to improve the product going forward.

We will probably be moving away from the fully railed concept as few need such real estate, but the overall layout and ability of the weapon will remain unchanged.
