how good can it be?

okay so i am new to this platform and I went ahead and got a 16 inch 6.5 G for fun, and hunting...curious if i can expect to be ABLE to shoot...i see some of yalls pictures and holy cow! i am an average shooter at this point, dont get the chance to practice but very little... but am i just dreaming or can i actually get good and this size gun shoot really well...?>

With a good barrel, trigger, load, etc you will be the limiting factor as far as accuracy is concerned. have fun with your new Grendel & post some pics.

Hill – Having been a shooting coach in the military once upon a time, normally I would say rounds down range is the best way to get better, but I saw a show on the Outdoor Channel recently that made me reconsider. There was a young man featured who won a pistol competition (think it was a wild west comp or something like that). He admitted that he had only fired once or twice in the previous several months. Everything else was dry fire and rehearsals.

shot it a weekend ago. sixty rounds with the cgeapy scope for now .where asi had never shot at anything more than two hundred .i took this "out of the box" and was hitting at the hundred mark every shot. good nuff to put meat down . so so excited to see what i can do with practice .advice from here and maybe better scope
