Nice shooting. Was there an exit wound? The one whitetail we shot with 115 Berger at 100 yards blew out the opposite shoulder.

I shot big brown in the head and there was no exit wound. That pig was one of the thickest I've ever killed. You are looking at the exit wound on the middle black one. I shot it in the back of the head on it's left side and It exited the right. The small one on the other hand, it literally blew her insides out of her body.

Nice grouping PigOPS. Most seem to use paper to test groups but yours is more fun. What distance did you get onto and dispatch these from. We have the same oportnities here on ocasions with ferel goats and the best we ever did was 21 from a mob of 30+ becaause we ran out of ammo. Slightly bigger cartridge though (7x57 and 404 Jeffery)

Feral goats sound too good to be true! The first one was a little over 100 Yds and the other two were 150ish.

I braved the heat and busted two yesterday, but was hunting with one of my short guns. The Grendel will get plenty of time as well...

-DPMS LoPro upper-- I love the look and feel of this but kinda wish I had a port cover... may eventually switch it and put this on a future .22lr build.
-AR Stoner 18" mid gas Barrel (made by E.R. Shaw)--This is an area where if you really wanted to improve accuracy you could drop some coin. I wanted to get into the platform and will consider upgrading one day IF I get into paper punching.
-Kies NiBor Carrier
-Kies adjustable GB
-MI SS Gen 2 15" handguard
-Vltor Muzzle brake

-Spikes lower (the fit upper to lower is superb)
-PSA MOE+ LPK (I really like this trigger for hunting)
-Standard A2 stock (going to replace eventually)

I prefer good pig meat to venison. My definition of good is a sow under 150 lbs... others will disagree.

Yeah the hornady Amax is actually pretty lethal. They dont usually leave an exit wound, when it hits it just explodes inside. The ballistic tip on the amax works pretty well for us on deer and hogs. Great shooting! I guess they dont have to worry about the big bad wolf blowing there house down. Grendel blew them away already lol.
