Midsouth Shooters Supply the 6.5 Grendel Loader Pack

I would like to get some thoughts on this combo. I purchased from Midsouth Shooters Supply the 6.5 Grendel Loader pack (100 Nosler brass cases, and 500 of the 123 match monster bullets). My plan is to use Accurate 2520 powder (I have 2#), CCI 450 primers. It looks like the charge weight is 26.5-29.5.

28.5 grains of A2520 under the 120gr and 123gr ELD group around a half inch at 100 yards through my Uintah 6.5 Grendel...
Velocity is in the high 2400 fps, 2480 to 2495 fps through a 22 inch barrel...

Wow. I didn't even know Nosler made Grendel brass.

My 20" BA DMR upper also shoots the 123 ELD very well with A2520. Sub-MOA, with 29.0 to 29.6 gr. (Worked up from 28.4 gr.)

I'd also like to hear how the Midsouth 123 gr Monster Match bullets.... which everyone says are Nosler Custom Comp, repackaged... shoot. I bought a box of 500 a few years ago. I've loaded up a few batches but not had the time to test them out yet. Hopefully this spring in the desert. I think I did some workups with similar loads to my 123 ELD loads. Don't know if they'll shoot the same, grouping and velocity wise though. Shapes (ogive, tail, etc.) must be slightly different.

Nosler makes brass and ammo for the Grendel, 120gr Ballistic tip and 129gr ABLR

Right. Yeah I actually looked it up right after reading that. I'd just never noticed anyone here calling out, "Hey where can I get some Nosler brass?" Or, "Midway's got Nosler brass in stock!" Maybe they have and I missed it.

It's a little expensive, from what I see. Compared to Hornady and Starline. Hope it's good. Regarding their bullets, there's also the aforementioned 123gr Custom Competition HPBT for target shooting.

The Midsouth Loader Pack is on sale for $199 now, 100 pieces of Nosler brass and 500 123gr BTHP bullets.

Nosler brass was made by Norma when they first introduced it, so very high quality brass. I haven’t run it through its paces to see how many loads you can get because I was already invested in Lapua and Hornady brass with my loads already dialed-in for mass production, namely 123gr Hornady under 31.2gr of CFE223.

I don’t think I ever loaded anything to test with the Nosler brass, but I could be just forgetting.
